RTTS frozen at start of season “play next appearance”

I can click around the screen but when i press “play next appearance” it freezes and unfreezes when I back out but never plays the next game… how do I progress? Create a new ball player?

I’m running into the EXACT same issue… I haven’t found a work around yet. I’m not dumping the player I busted my [censored] to build.

Same here. Finished my first season and now I am unable to start a second one. It just locks up and I can’t sim through any dates.

You can start a new career with the same ballplayer. You lose the career, but not the progress on the player's abilities and archetype.

Ummmmm, dumb question, but how are you creating a new career with the same person?
At the main menu, select RTTS and press the button for More Options (X on XBox). Select START NEW and then choose the ballplayer you want to play with. You can select an existing ballplayer or create a new one.

This thread scares the daylights out of me. I'm currently near the end of June of my very first season, and the idea that this is what I have to look forward to... is not encouraging.

Same problem here. I sent in a support ticket and they are clueless how to fix it.
I've tried 4 new players all with same issue.One thing I figured out. All those that froze were using a downloaded roster. 3 different ones. Hangs on each one.
I tried one using default roster and that issue never came up.

I only had this issue with my batters but have not run into this issue with my closing pitcher. I've had to restart the season like 3 times for my batter lol.
