FOTF Showdown.
Breeze through all the way to Class without losing a mission.
Come in ties at 12 with my lineup as follows:
FOTF Mullins
FOTF Tucker
FOTF Seager
FOTF Devers
FOTF Franco
Prospect Montgomery
LS Winker
FOTF Murphy
Spots 1-8 either line out or fly out.FOTF Murphy the ONLY righty punches a cutter for the walk off win.
Clase is WICKED. I don't think he threw one pitch that I could've taken as a ball. I was either early or late on everything except that hit by Murphy.
Thought for sure I was going to fail it.

You got through it. Last year Rivera was a tough boss for me. Went into the showdown against him twice, tied and lost. Funny thing is the time I beat him I went in like, 15-11 and was able to get the 5 runs to beat him.

For me it's a mental thing. I could go into the final boss with a [censored] lineup down a few runs and finish it with outs to spare. If I go in with a stacked lineup basically tied im going to flail like an idiot til my final few outs and then usually get it.

I went in 12-12 as well and reordered like 15 straight outs. I was hitting the ball it was just warning track after warning track, rocket after rocket, all to the corner infielders.
Then Mullins pulled into right for the win. The mood swing from "pshhh one run, I got this" to every out anger and panic intensifying was nuts lol.
Good ole showdown.

Mullins is the man!

Hard thing about Clase... I went into it expecting the 102 Cutter that comes in like a blur from last years Finest...it really wasn't that bad this year. Probably only hit 100 a few times...but it's the break on the thing. One pitch it won't move at all and sit on the black. The next pitch it'll break 90 feet like a slider and its in the other batters box by the time you swing.

That's 100% me. I went into this one down 12-6, and I didn't have any problems getting the 7 runs. Every time I go in tied, I go through my lineup at least once before scoring a run.

I think that perk that gives exit velo after 3 outs has to be money. I never pick it though...

Is he easier to face than Valenzuela at least?

Kind of. I don't remember much from Valenzuela; but Clase pretty much throws up and in unless a runner is on base. Then you have to watch for the low pitch.
If I remember correctly he also threw 99.9% of his pitches in the zone; so I don't know if waiting on him to walk someone is viable.
