If you go to the community market it’s there, it just hasn’t been released. I did notice some new cleats were added in general gameplay. Not just certain modes, hopefully all will be released soon. Not trying to make a big deal about it. But it makes the game a little more authentic in my opinion.

I'm a franchise only player, but I really hope the proper equipment gets released with a day one patch. I hope they don't trickle out equipment over the course of the year as some sort of online expansion. That would be a terrible decision.

It would be really great if we could just get an update on when to expect the rest of the equipment to be patched in. Really sucks missing the Nike catchers equipment.

It just dawned on me, during previous versions of the Show Twitch feature premiere's they would make some mention equipment going and comings. Not this year!!

All I ask is that when you do include Nike catchers gear in 22 that you make it possible for the border trim (turquoise in the picture) and the leg straps (black in the picture) to have different colors because in the 21 game the trim and the leg straps had to be the same color.
In 21, the chest protector had main, secondary, trim and strap color options, but the leg guards only had main, secondary and straps, when they should both have all 4 options.

I see that 22 still only has main, trim and straps for the catchers leg guard color options. The problem is that what the game calls trim is actually the secondary color. It should be main, secondary, trim and straps. Regardless, I have absolutely zero interest playing this game without all the proper equipment.
Edit: see the above picture, in the game the turquoise trim is considered as the same texture as the leg straps so they have to be the same color, and according to what numerous real life MLB catchers wear that's wrong. The game calls the red portion the trim, but it should be the secondary color, because black is obviously the main color.
Here's another example of the leg guards. Blue main and secondary, orange trim, and black straps.
Another: grey main, red secondary and trim, black straps.

Just your daily reminder that the edge trim on the leg guards (white in the picture) and the leg straps should each have their own color options. The gear in the pic is the new Nike gear that was showcased in the 21 all star game.

Are we getting the NIKE/Jordan gear or not this year!!?? I see UA gear is in the marketplace but not in Edit Player... They got rid of SOOO many cleats too. I hate when they do this!!!

SDS is doing that whole thing again where they refuse to address it. Not like they advertised with the missing equipment in the trailers or anything…

Here's San Diego, the catchers leg guards have yellow trim and black leg straps which once again is not currently possible because the yellow trim and the leg straps have to be the same color as they are treated as the same texture.

I have to say, I'm very disappointed that the Nike catchers gear wasn't added in the patch this morning. It was shown in the trailers leading up to the game and it was in the tech test. I feel like I've been duped as a consumer. There has been a complete lack of transparency from the staff, no acknowledgment whatsoever. Now I have to sit and wait for the next patch and who knows how long that will be from now. All I want to do is play franchise with all the real equipment as was advertised.

I agree 100% this is just flat out unacceptable from a consumer point of view. SDS advertised equipment that is not present in the game. They should offer complete refunds.

They can come out and make a statement on a variety of other topics, but not this for some reason. It’s totally bogus. I want my money back for the MVP edition.

What I find even more strange is things like Nike elbow guards are actually available in the market but not selectable for your players in franchise. So we have things like Nike and Jordan catchers gear which shows up on the website but are nowhere in the game, then things like Nike elbow guards that are available in the market presumably for your CAP but not available in franchise. Bit of a cluster.

Hopefully we get the update this week because I'd really like to start my Franchise. The game has been out almost a month...
Also here's hoping for Force 3 catchers gear. There's more than a few players wearing the brand. -
Fingers crossed we get independent colors for the leg straps and the trim on catchers leg gear in the patch tomorrow.
