"Big Fly Ohtani San!" achievement not working on Xbox (RTTS)

The achievement requires:

Hit a home run with any starting pitcher. (Excludes local mp, practice, and switching teams)

Since the Universal DH rule has been implemented, it's now impossible for a batter to even step up to the plate, much less hit a home run. I've tried making a pro as a starter, a 2-way with starter as primary, 2-way with starter and position generally equal, and position with occasional starts. I've hit home runs on every pro but the pure pitcher, but no achievement pops.
Has anyone figured out a workaround?

I assume it because they maybe don't count a 2 way RTTS players for this Trophy or maybe you have a RP...
Either way the easiest way to pop this Trophy is to load into an away exhibition game (on an easy difficulty) with Ohtani leading off and Hit a HR in the 1st AB of the game, if you dont hit a HR just pause and restart the game until completing.
