Xbox Series S Performance Issues

This game runs like a dream on my PS5, but I have an awful time with input lag even on a monitor.
However, I am a proven better hitter on Xbox as it feels like the system is more responsive & the hitting windows are larger.
BUT, man does this game run like a turtle on the Series S. Is anyone else experiencing this? So sluggish!
I love the game, by the way…so I’m not complaining. I just hope the dev team is aware of the awful performance on the S.

You don’t notice stutter when moving around your PCI or dropping frames throughout gameplay?

There’s been a lot of threads about having to use an old Gen or third party wired controller to get rid of the stutter/lag on Xbox next Gen.

The PCI is all the wireless controller not a system issue. I use a wired Wolverine controller and have no issues with the PCI. Unfortunately this seems to be the only work around. It was like that last year too. If I remember right someone may have said that If you revert back to the previous controller firmware it may fix the pci problem but I can't confirm that.

Thank both of you for noting this. I bought the Power A wired controller & it is to arrive tomorrow. We will see if that fixes the issue.

Will it also improve my timing even more? I’m using the Elite Series 2, which is still miles ahead of the PS5. PS5 has me late on change ups.

If you plug in the series 2 to the Xbox you will also get a clean pci. If you don’t want to go the power a route. Tested mine today.
