Bunting for hits.

This is my first time at 3rd base in 3 years of playing RTTS, usually, I'm at 2nd. Does this year's version have increased bunting for hits, or is it on par with the previous years? Seems a bit high compared to what I see in actual MLB games

I think it's about the same. Just can't do it towards 3rd if they are covering, that never works. If you are trying to get on via bunting, hold the right joystick straight right as much as possible and then hope you time it correctly. The only time I ever get out is if the pitcher gets it, or I bunt straight to first base. Both I think are slight timing issues.

I'm the one playing 3rd, not batting

Yeah, half way through my reply, I kind of thought that's what you meant, but I just rolled with it. It makes sense for the title if people click for that though

They have always had a high amount of bunt for hits. I remember in a previous version they has power hitters that never bunt IRL bunting for a hit.

My manager asked me to play 1st (because... of course they do). I still see too many bunts. Yes, power hitters. Also, in weird situations like two outs, bottom of the 9th, team is behind by 4.... hmmm... lay down a bunt!

Yeah, I hate that glitch. That was one thing I was definitely disappointed about them not fixing from last year. Almost seems worse this year.

I’m playing 2nd and I’m seeing a ton of them. Like, an excessive amount, especially when you consider there is no actual play for me to make. Any double play opportunity goes to the SS. I wish it were fixable.

play a 1B or do a player lock as one, last year I saw it 8+ times a game- guy with 40hrs. yup, 2 outs in inning yup guys with less than 50spd yup.seems reduced this year, but it's still there.

They bunt with 2 strikes a lot which never happens and is next to impossible to defend if playing normal at 3rd
