Your pitcher shouldn’t get tired after throwing one pitch.

I get that we don’t want a starter going all 3 but [censored]. This is crazy.

Is this happening in Mini Seasons where you are noticing this?

Conquest or Mini Seasons works the same for stamina. A lot of foul [censored] and control issues (granted, I just use button pitching).

The reliever stamina is an issue and trying to get parallel xp for them is going to be tedious. It’s like the game wants you to pitch to contact and hope for a three pitch inning.

It’s not just conquest and mini seasons though. Events and BR are also like this at the moment.

I’m used to it being a part of the game, and I’m fine with it. But when control is as off as it is right now, we are required to throw additional pitches to make up for it.

Also a reliever tired after one pitch in your first game in the event run is insane.

Feels like they have sped up stamina regression. Which I’m fine with (no starters in green after 135 pitches) but relievers should have a different equation. That or start them with a higher stamina threshold to begin with.

I don't mind control being not great, the stamina needs tweaking. Last year it seemed like guys could throw forever and not get tired. So stamina needed to be addressed. That said, it seems they've pretty clearly overcorrected. I have yet to play a ranked season but events and conquest stamina needs an adjustment for sure

The messed up part of this is that Starting Pitchers can still throw 8 innings deep without getting tired in ranked seasons. Ranked seasons stamina isn't balanced at all

Have you tried working the counts?

Actually no they don't. Stamina resets in conquest, but in events, BR, and Mini seasons they need 1 or 2 game rest. Again b/c of rewards and competitive settings.

Please DON'T change the stamina. It's perfect. I love the CPU going deeper into their bullpen and I don't mind having to use different relievers. And when we see better starters it'll be fine. Breakout Smoltz with 101 stamina can go 2 innings easy, and can go all 3 with a perfect game. It's fine. It's an improvement. Don't listen to these babies.

I'll agree with this, as long as they make the CPU teams suffer the same consequences in mini-seasons, that's it.

While I am not sold on how quick finally in a 3 inning game the CPU uses 3 Ps instead of somehow allowing their SP to go all of the innings

I sir, am no baby. I put my big boy pants on all by myself, thank you.

That being said, all I’m saying is that a pitcher should be able to face the three batter minimum before they get tired to a point that their pitches go anywhere but the location you want.

Not a major fix at all.

I don't know I have Gallegos up to somewhere between P2 and P3 already and I have not used him every game. This has all been done in Conquest where you can pitch them every game.

The stamina for mini seasons is ruining my fun in it. If your bullpen throws more than 12 pitches theyre totally gassed, which happens basically every inning because the CPU just fouls off everything, even junk. So yea, its not tuned right. I think im going to not play mini until its fixed.

They can though. I usually use the starter for the first inning and different relievers for the 2nd and 3rd. 3 innings, 3 pitchers. But that's with mostly junk day 1 starters. Starters with decent stamina can get 6 outs fairly easy and like I said I've had a complete game with Smoltz.

The real benefit of this for solo grinders is that the CPU is constantly going to their pen and bringing in bums, which is great. Why would you want this changed just so your starter can go a little longer? Why does that matter?

If this is happening in Mini Seasons, then it's because rewards are involved and in order to prevent using same pitchers over and over. Give pitchers a day off you will not get this. It is very balanced if you approach it this way. It's how i do it and really no issues. But also if you are getting the msg he is tired he actually can pitch usually 5-7 more pitches generally.

If it is happening to relievers as soon as the come into game from bullpen you might be warming them up to long. Be sure to check them and click ready and waiting b4 bar is full or as soon as bar is full. If they continue warming it also uses energy. 🙂

Hmm a very interesting thought.i will have to try this

I don’t want starters to last longer. I want relievers to last more than one pitch before they are tired. When they tire, they are less effective. I’m essentially using a lower version of the card then what should be on the hill.

try what Grizz said.after a batter or 2 click ready and waiting. Ive done this and ive made it to 8 pitches before the whistle.the one low 90s guy made it to 12 before he got tired.

I wish they had a system for not throwing your number 5 starter game after game. I wish stamina affected previously pitched games. Same for relievers. I wish I had to use my whole bullpen because of innings recently pitched.
