It is offline right, so which gen the opponents team comes from shouldn't impact much, you are playing the AI, the AI is just using DD teams. I might have misunderstood what this mode is though

Thanks, get that for sure, but just wonder if you are playing a team on the road, how the stadium is chosen........If you are on a PS4 or XBOXOne, assuming you cant play in a user created stadium, so if its any team, will stadiums be random on the road, OR will it follow the same rules as online play, where you can only play teams that arent next gen?

I'm intrigued in this mode as I eventually bore of conquest (when there are no new maps) and I think facing other player's lineups will keep it fresh from an opponent standpoint. I feel like they should make it that once you enter into a mini season, you can't change your lineup either (and maybe should make it so you can't change your stadium). That would make it a little more interesting, at least to me. If you want a different lineup, you have to start the mode over again, I hope.

Finally, as an offline player, I will get the chance to actually see my home uniforms.
As for stadiums, my guess is you either choose it or they have preassigned stadiums to those teams.

100% This is the best thing to happen for Offline Players in many many years. So excited for this game!

If i remember correctly, extra innings you could only choose the stadium that the user had access to. So say the user never unlocked any of the classic stadiums, you couldn't choose them. I wonder if it's the same.

It is exactly this.
You pick your home stadium from those you've unlocked. Away games are possibly random minor league stadium picked at random and assigned to that team.
Right now though, winning a mini seasons game may still result in an L... because SDS doesn't know how to program...
