I personally don't know if the changes are good or bad. I think 2 days into early access is way to soon to jump to any conclusions.
that's fair but the consensus as of rn is not good if you couldn't tell. We'll see but if the programs are going to continue to be like this we are in for a long year.
None of us can know what the consensus is because we are a small percentage of the player base. The people complaining are just the loudest right now, there are plenty of people taking the wait and see approach

Sorry for not being clear, what I was trying to say was that the feedback that has been posted on here and social media has been mostly negative. and its not just with DD but across the board

Sorry for not being clear, what I was trying to say was that the feedback that has been posted on here and social media has been mostly negative. and its not just with DD but across the board
DD/ultimate team modes really led to the death of innovation in offline modes which sucks. So you will hear flack about those modes every year.

Idk I'm nms besides buying the $85 version and I already have 90 over at every fielding position with the AL east live done and the nation done. It's not hard. My crazy grind will stop tomorrow night and I'll just go back to enjoying the game. I also have a 98 ovr in Madden and sold millions of coins before being banned a few weeks ago. Didn't mind the ban bc MLB was coming, but I probably sold 15m coins

This is absolutely no different than the old inning boss structure — you get 1 for free and have buy them other two. But people are acting like this is the end of the freaking world lol
It felt the same way last year the first couple months when giving up bombs to Chipper and Ortiz. Things will even out I would assume.

I like the new program. Its fair to everyone. I hated last year with everyone using future cards that were better than legends. Whats the fun in completing a program in less than 24hrs and getting all the cards. Just play the game and enjoy, there is lots of content and we are still in pre release stage.

Lol, nobody WANTS to do that BS. Sure sometimes we feel we have to just to get by, but flipping is got to be the most tedious and boring the to do.

When they add 3 different types of in game currency then we can start making some comparisons to madden. Until then they are miles apart lol

Since WS reward is based on innings, you don't necessarily need to gave a god squad to get the high end diamond. And the BR program rewards are pretty attainable, granted you need 1500 stubs to join, but the rewards ROI are more than justified.

It would be so much better to have choice no sell TA packs. I was so scared, that I would get two catchers in the first no sell packs, especially when I have Piazza from conquest
. It's a no sell pack, so who cares who do you pick...I'm also at 140k xp after 20 hours of playing, so finishing a programme is possible and I played just Conquests, some moments, Babe Ruth programme and I'm loving mini seasons mode so far.
Hopefully SDS will come with something similar to real TA in the future

True, but if playing the game is boring then they may want to play something else. Like the stock market or something more similar to what they like.

The consensus as of right now is they don't like the changes because they feel there is less "content" but are also the ones who should "cards arent content". Let's also be real most of those where also on here being like NMS here here is my squad after 2 days. Basicly meaning the consensus was saying it was to easy so reap what you so. Overall they have made the game more of a grind like you actually have to play all aspects of the game.
Overall these changes have the potential to be very positive in the long run just have to see how it plays out.
For discloser I am playing on the switch, I have done a full mini season that I won, the Showdown and some moments and I am at 135k what ever is the first 2 FoTF random packs. I am having issue with conquest and the reinforcement bug and only 5 online event games.
The game is ment to be played all aspects of it. There are many options for both online and offline to do the program.
As far as other content here are a list of things still to come
- more conquest
- likely an opening day program
- all Star program
- player programs for progress toward the featured program
- POTM
- Toops now I think come backs but it's the one I am not 100% sure on, this would be disappointing if it didn't
- Field of dream likely returns
- Postseason programs

There may be less for an offline player to do. There may not. We really don't know that yet. The idea that NMS is dead because you don't get 30 free diamonds for logging in like team affinity was last year is ridiculous though

That is because disgruntled players flock to forums and reddit to air their grievances. Players enjoying the game are far less likely to make a point to post positive messages.
Again, I am not claiming everything is great just that it is too soon to tell whether they have killed NMS.
