The stadium announcer will properly announce Albert Pujols, Prince Fielder, and other legends by their name when they come up to bat, but the commentators only call them "Number ____"?!?

That and they constantly say this guy's the best so and so in the league today, but the guys is dead, or retired.

they just repeat the same [censored] littlerally 3 times a game and you cant turn it offbecause it really is an advantage when you hit a ball and the announcer tells you whether its a homer or a pop fly before it actually happens because they just repeat the same lines lmao smh

I can't believe anyone actually listens to the audio in this game. Last time I listened to probably 3 years ago it seemed like the same 10 statements over and over every single game.

Also it’s a necessity to turn off the menu music. It’s actually soothing to log in and hear the show tune and hearing welcome to the Show vs some annoying [censored] bad music.

The worst [censored] ever is when your opponent has a custom Homerun noise and they are hitting secondary pci bombs off of you. Enough to make you want to kill someone.

Mantle actually did have a college scholarship to play football,but a leg injury that nearly killed him ended his football career so he switched to baseball.

Yeah nobody uses commentary, literally gives me a freaking migrane. I think that is why SDS is skimping on it.

To answer your question, it would probably be because the stadium announcer audio did not need new sound bytes for the names this year, whereas the commentary did and many names have not been added in to the commentary, possibly not even recorded.
