Whole point of the game was ohtani....two way pitcher, with an universal dh they couldn't promote that, so no way that was ever going to happen

In the money making mode of DD hes much more valuable as a two way player without DH. He’s on the cover, they were going to do everything the could to set him apart is his point.

The thing that sets him apart is he pitches and hits. As a dh.

Firstly, I hope they don’t add the DH because I think adding the universal DH game kills all strategy that’s used around hitting with the pitcher…
But are they planning to? It would be kind of weird if the game is compliant with real life MLB (universal DH, no base runner on second in extra’s, etc.)
You're saying it would be weird if the game was compliant with MLB rules? Shouldn't it be? Why not just make up rules?
It's s little silly that they still can't have Ohtani as a 2 way player, despite marking him as such.

no base runner on second in extra’s
MLB is still using that rule this year.

I made a typing error, I meant the game should be compliant with real life league rules !

The thing that set you apart is how dense you are, you think you’re the only one that understands he can DH but your the only one that doesn’t seem too understand if they add a DH in DD nobody is going to put Ohtani there because then won’t pitch. The best way to make him as valuable as possible is too have him do what nobody else can do. Which is pitch and hit, which is what he does in this game, if he was a DH he wouldn’t pitch, and if he was pitching somebody else would be DHing. Next year maybe the they will recode the game for him but until then this adds the most value to him.
