now that ive played a bit longer im noticing how bad it is they put it a bunch of stuff into one program and made it harder and longer to level up im pretty sure.. I do like the look of some rewards though conquest and a few other hidden collection gems will hopefully make up for it
I find this comment interesting when last year the main concern people raised was that the program wasn't log enough and people where broad cause the hit the 650k and had like 2 weeks to go before the next program drops.

I feel like everyone forgets that the first few months of the game it’s hard to make stubs, because we all have too many to use by October. I promise by the end of the year, SDS will find away so everyone has 96 mauer and the live series collection done.. Especially once the shark map hits, they put in packs in everything.

It’s just sad to see this game finally go the EA route, they’re killing their player base with this new program setup, they have absolutely made no money spent impossible. This grind is ridiculous, we should be able to replay the showdowns like last year for progress can only play it once now. It’s gonna be nothing but wallet warriors in ranked seasons, hopefully the next program will be different, but the way of this new program layout is HORRIBLE they had no reason to change it, ppl praised this game for the programs and grind 99, they changed their model up and are going the EA route. RIP to what used to be the best ultimate team mode.
Seems to me that the repeatable rewards for conquest and mini seasons will make NMS perfectly possible if you're willing to grind. As long as we get some form of Topps Now, POTM, and All-Star program we'll be fine.
My only concern is the big collections. I'm not worried about being able to have a stacked NMS team, but if the lack of TA makes it impossible to do the collections (because way less free cards) then I'll be upset.

Yeah that was deffinetly never me though maybe im a bit of an outlier. I play 4-5 hours a day alot but more for fun than to grind i didnt even complete half the programs last year only the first few

I just never saw the fun in buying all of the high cards early, where's the build up? I like a little grind but not Daniel Nava 4 doubles in a game grind. And I make good money, just seems even more boring to grab them all so early. This is why I stay award from ranked, seasons and all that bs

Im finding MTO the best grind right now. About 90k on allstar plus whatever else you earn from each game. A guy on my friends list did it first and already has a boss when I started. If I do it a second time I’ll be at the choice packs

Yeah and if the servers are out it will stack your Xp until it’s online as well which is nice. Im almost glad I had so many wins counted as loses in Mini seasons because tripled my Xp in less time playing MTO. Just no Parallels

For the life of me, i'll never understand why people buy games that they dont wanna play. If the "grind" is too much, find something else to do. We have 30 days to do the program, it doesnt need to be done in the first 24 hours.

You've been good at talking me down during this emotional time in the wake of Team Affinity dying and so far I have to say, you're right and I think I may have jumped the gun. There are simply different ways to do it this year that are also fun. Just need to adapt..
Anyway, I'm not the world's greatest player, so what would you reccomend on MTO? Thanks.

I’ll be NMS again this year mostly because it was a lot more fun to play that way. I kinda thought NMS was actually a little too easy in 21’ but thats me. Challenge is a good thing.
That’s fine to make it a challenge, but when you grind nonstop and you end up with a sean fkn murphy that isn’t sellable that you won’t use one bit. That’s a lot of grinding for nothing, and not how this game used to be. Maybe they will add a replayable showdown or something like last year, but as it is this is not a good look for the loyal ppl to this game and how the layout used to be. This new program is not good
Bio - Xbox user who didn't want to splurge on the $50 early access so all of what I have seen has been from others playing
Anything that is repeatable is grindable, so far I have heard of mini seasons and now a 3 stronghold conquest map that sounds like a really good farm.
Have they clearly made it harder for NMS, yes, If I am honest with myself I know NMS was super easy last year, would I love this year to be super easy again, yeah I would, but it is too early to see just how hard they will make it for NMS, and as long as they don't continue to shift away from NMS year by year I think it will still be super viable

Dynamic adjusts as you play, I forgot exactly how it averages out the difficulty when it comes to rewards, just know, in the past if you start on dynamic and change the difficulty mid way, you will get beginner rewards, I would recommend starting on All Star, you can bump up the difficulty or lower the difficulty based on how hard you find it and not get bumped to the beginner rewards, you will be lowered to veteran if you go down.
I personally love MTO, I play mostly if not exclusively as offline for DD, I also am in no rush to get any card as fast as I can, I enjoy the process more than the result.

I've always been a NMS, playing DD since 1st year and always made all the collections. Some years i got the live series collection done in june/july but last year was too easy. It's never fun to play a game/mode with no challenge. -

It's never fun to play a game/mode with no challenge.not sure who you are asking, and sticking my nose in a little here, but people can enjoy the game however they enjoy it, I personally agree with you that challenge is fun, I play my conquest games on HOF or Legend for the challenge, some people like to breeze through that stuff as they like the collecting aspect more.
I think it is pretty clear that they have moved away from NMS being so easy, and there is a quick reaction towards that, time will tell just how far they move from the NMS ease. I will reserve my judgement until then, still a long way to go to reach EA type
And I agree last year was super easy to play NMS, but I didn't hate that either, I made it more challenging on myself by not doing exchanges and other faster methods

So depending on what difficulty you play will determine how much xp you get and it works on a scale so get am A+ ranking get max xp get a low rating get the base xp so progress no matter what. I don't know the xp rewards per difficulty bit if you look under the program I think it's say.
You can grind out a MTO on Vet in a good 3 or 4 days and you will rake up a good amount of xp from what I remember.
MTO is good to break of things cause you don't have to worry about line ups and Parallels you just play baseball game with different situations an it goes to towards the main program so you don't miss out. Again another reason this change is positive cause you can play so many different offline modes and still progress

Yeah, I need to remember that I didn't start day 1 last year. I started in May. By then there was soooooo much content. I can't imagine they will pull off the throttle on cards and content. It's just packaged in a different way.
