It sucks, but I'm sure they weren't expecting people to blow through 100 wins in a week and a half when they laid out the content timeline.
True because if we all weren’t home all day we would have been farther off

The problem with this is that most of us that actually grinded to 100 wins had absolutely no clue the event wins and rewards carried over.
It wasn't a tip off when they advertised the new event name as "The Show Goes on "?
No, simply because every event in the past that was multiple parts only gave you at most 1 or 2 vouchers and you had to wait for the next event to get all the rewards. And I figured that since they made hitting and pitching harder, and showdown is hard, that it would be hard to get cumulative event rewards as well this year. Guess not. I might use the next event for HOF practice but I'm guessing events wont have too much traffic until new rewards come out for it, which assuming theres a show goes on 3, will be absolutely forever
-
And this one didn't give you vouchers.
Put 2 and 2 together.

i have over 150 event wins, already made WS.. what else am i supposed to do now
Get off the game. I’m just messing. Grind march to October/Showdown for TA
Most people don't want to play offline versus the computer like it's 1998
Then Play BR my guy
Every time I try br I go 6-0 and play a twitch streamer who hits every strike over the fence
-
Yeah, I was aware the event will go on all year. Don’t want the rewards anyway, maybe if they release a 6 or 9 inning event I’ll try it out, but 3 inning games are trash. There’s no real strategy, it’s just a hitting game.
-
Dang. I already have 100 wins. This is lame.

This... But in their defense, they also didn’t expect a lot of their player base to be stuck at home and grinding those 100 wins within the first 2-3 weeks of the game’s life cycle.

Read a book. Learn something new in life. Lots of time now to do that.
-
Its the same as last year, but they released all the rewards at once and no vouchers. Last year you had 3 different events phases

The problem with this is that most of us that actually grinded to 100 wins had absolutely no clue the event wins and rewards carried over. Apparently it said so in the event info screen, but considering I have pretty much exclusively played Events for 3 years now, a lot of us only need to see the rewards and lineup requirements
I read the event info and FAQs that are in the event tab, and were there on launch.
It very clearly states that your cumulative wins carry over from event to event. It even states that if there is an exception (special event rewards that won’t carry over) that it will be explicitly stated.

And I understand that. But being that I have earned every cumulative event reward for every event since events were first introduced to DD, I haven’t even opened the event info page in a long time. A tweet to clarify is all that was needed

do the Content Survey and complain there.. not everyone has all the rewards for this event.. just the power grinders, like yourself.
too many entitled whiners here.

So they kept the 100 win rewards and there's no reset back to 0?
Where is everyone seeing this?
-
Joke of an update, shoulda saved my $ this year

So dumb. They have been horrible with bringing new content to this game
Not really. They've already given you two diamonds for free. No new reward for the event is a bummer I agree, but content has been imo great this far.

This. They didn't know 80% of the U.S. would be on stay at home orders playing this game 24/7. It is something you simply can't account for. More people are reaching areas that given normal circumstances, wouldn't be there.

Lmao, what would it take 3-5 wins a day to get a 100? In a 3 inning game I might add. Wow I’m such a entitled power grinder.

Where is everyone getting this information?

that is unbelievably stupid
wow
so they have 0 rewards for those of us who really wanted to grind in events got it
-
Absolutely terrible choice on their part I would've taken terrible rewards or here's a wild idea give people prospect set 2 and 3 packs for playing this event since the 1st inning and the 1st event only gave prospect set 1 packs. It really wouldn't have been that hard I thought of a good enough reward to keep some people playing and took me all of 10 seconds.
