My last name is missing

For the past 10 years my last name "Lilly" has been in the game as a last name audio and with my name being Codie I love the fact MLB let's me use Cody as my first name audio, and for the past 10 years at least the last name Lilly has always been an option. I bought 4 days early access on MLB 22 to see my last name missing. Don't know why you would remove things from the game when the idea is to progress but from now on it will be very difficult to get a realistic feel for my RTTS player as my last name isn't even announced anymore. Truthfully RTTS is the entire reason I play the game as I think it is the most immersive career mode there is for sport games next to NBA 2k and NHL 22 , but MLB taking out my last name really hits a sore spot for me as no other game every announced my last name besides MLB and now that is for no longer. For what reason, I don't know

They must have lost your rights. I have a very unique last name and my name has been in the game for at least the past 5 years. First name is pretty unique too and it has been in. Havent looked this year.

Same thing happened to me! I wouldn’t expect my name to be there normally, but it’s been in the game for years and years.
And, to be quite honest… I’m already sick of Boog. I miss Matty V. Not digging this new commentary.

I'm guessing with the new commentary everything had to be re-recorded so it may be that they didn't do all of the previous ones. I'm a little confused though because there is a current MLB player with my last name and it's not listed as an option...
Edit: Just checked and his name is announced fine in game, I just don't have the option to use it.

. Completely take me out of the whole realistic experience. Ive waited years and when they finally added it, plus they had Jose Alvarado with the phillies like come on SMH -

Same for me. My fairly common last name (which is also a first name) is not in the game and it has always been there. I am hoping they add more with an update. So many names missing.

I’m already over it — I changed my CAP’s name to Hippo Buttz and now I giggle every time I come to the plate. Well played, SDS. Well played.
(But seriously… please put all the names back in)

Mine is gone too. I hope the developers offer to put them in again. I had to go through their operation sports forum many years ago to get it out in the last time.

Same for me. Jankowski has been in the game since I started playing it, and Travis Jankowski is still in the game, but the name is missing for me to use.

Slightly off topic by does it sound like they are saying Anderson rather than Henderson when Rickey Henderson is on base?

couldn't find my name earlier but didn't notice that the nicknames were separated from the real names and found it in the latter

I would think having a first name of missing would be more of an issue, especially in middle school.

I read on another forum that there is a significant number of audio names missing this year, like a stupid big number of names missing.

yeah I was sad to see that I no longer was able to Name my Character August Womack as Womack was no longer in the game. But my sadness from that went away pretty quick. Since both my characters I have made are bugged and never received their Gold Archetypes. And of course they don't respond to posts or support tickets at all.

My last name is Alvarez and I use that last name in the others mlb the show but in this I cant use it

My first name is Adam and my last name is very rare. I understand that they'll probably never have my last name. That's fine, but there is a player with the last name of Adam with no "s" at the end but naot an option for last name audio. I used to teach and would love to have them say Professor Adam or something like that. Adam Three-finger just sounds dumb. I use Dirtbag Preacher, because I find it funny, but the immersion is lacking.

Make sure you're looking for your surname in the surname section of the list and not in the nickname section like I did the first time
