yes they can, up to 125

Even at gold, my CAP is crazy. I put about 150k worth of equipment on him though. Can’t believe I never did this in any previous games. My CAP will be the best hitter on my team.

I did power last year and wished I had done balanced. Did balanced this year and think it is the best choice overall

I did balanced last year and it worked out great. I’m still gold on my cap but I’ll probably go contact this year since you can boost everything pretty high and I seem to do better with higher vision batters

Take balanced. My guy is basically 100/100/90 C/P/V.

Balanced with around 130-150k (not sure exact amount) in equipment.
Most expensive was Ritual “legendary call”. Think it was like 44k by itself.
I have Mantle and this cap hits on par with him. So it was definitely worth it. Plus a switch hitting catcher won’t be outdone by any card in the game.

Literally made a video about this just last night. It shows you the exact 89 Catcher with the best equipment currently, for all 3 focus (Contact, Power, Balanced). Also shows price breakdown, looking at 257k give or take, for all diamond equipment.
