After yesterday's 1.06 patch that eliminated the runner window if auto fielding was on, I immediately made a post about how ridiculous this was.
With the outpouring of replies and complaints, it's obvious SDS was reading and undid it with today's 1.07 update. That was fast!!

Yet they haven’t addressed the gameplay which is sub par. I mean it’s just last years game with worse defense.

Evidently, our batting averages are more “realistic” now so I guess that means the gameplay is fine.

For one the exit velos have been higher and the hitting seems more responsive.

I might give it a whirl. I've been extremely frustrated with showdown server issues lately. Keeps disconnecting only on eliminations

It was too fast. I reckon they already knew it was a problem in 1.06 testing, decided to release it anyway (lesser of two evils compared to changing or pulling 1.06) with the intention of patching it immediately with 1.07.

The two event games I played my opponents got a lot of [censored] hits. Many very early and rolled hits. I won both games. Input feels a little better. Pitching feels some better. I just wish sds would be transparent with everything they change every update. I agree gameplay is very different now. Just wish they would listen to the community from day one instead of looking at stat sheets all day

Well, I agree the pitching is moderately better, but it is still usually a battle of who hangs the first/most pitches.
I guess my question to you would be, better than what? Better than post 1.04? Better than the beta? Better than last year?
