Best Position to Get to MLB the Fastest

I’m thinking a pitcher and maybe relief pitcher might be the fastest way to get a top ball player and reach the majors the fastest. What do you think?

Fastest as in real-life time? I would say use a position player and switch off fielding and baserunning opportunities. Should be able to get to the majors in under an hour. At least that’s what I did when going for the ‘get the call up’ trophy.

Promotions are based on overall. The best way to get promoted is to be at a position with little depth and a low overall MLB Starter. In 21, if your overall was good enough, you'd get promoted to AAA at the AA break and to MLB on or a few days after August 1. If you don't care what team you're on you can get called up fast at any position.

Usually any position on the Baltimore Orioles.

No 1 position has an advantage over another. Once the position and player is created it is then up to how the player progresses individually.
For instance if i create a SS and you Create a SS at same time, from that point forward it will be based on how well you play that determines the progression. It is not a linear progression.
I had a player in the minors for 3 years once. Granted b/c i skipped training and so forth only played games.

This right here. I basically had a full season split between AA and AAA and then a couple of weeks AAA the next season before I was up starting in the Majors batting between 3-5 in the lineup.
When I played on 20 I’m pretty sure I used the Orioles too but ended up getting traded to the Astros. I was constantly batting towards the bottom of the order even though I was winning the Triple Crown. Made no sense.

I actually don't like getting to the majors quickly. Give me two seasons in the minors so that when I actually do get to the MLB, my stats aren't worse than Martin Maldonado's. Nothing sucks more than getting drafted by the Orioles, called up in half a season and then having your career ruined because you aren't able to do anything. Although it is a very realistic and immersive experience about what it is like to get drafted by the Baltimore Orioles.
