Are you kidding me? Ichiro was the greatest player I will ever see in my lifetime. The power numbers are irrelevant if they can swing gameplay back towards the ‘20 system which allowed contact hitters to be viable. Not everyone wants to play the ‘19 & ‘21 style power game.
Also, let us not forget that 2 years ago Craig Biggio was a collection reward.

Who cares about power when you can bunt for a home run lol. Most exciting player I've ever seen and it's not even close.

Agreed, Ichiro would be an incredible pick. Honestly, the way contact and "slap" hitters like Brock, Morgan and Gwynn hit in this game, he'd probably have good power numbers. His overall game is so well rounded I'd have in my outfield all year.
Plus, Ichiro didn't hit home runs because that wasn't part of his game. He chose to get 250+ hits, a .350 average, lots of SBs, Runs scored and don't get me started on his defense. But Ichiro had sneaky power.

Statistically, I guarantee you’ve seen better players in your lifetime lmao. But as far as the game goes, someone like Ichiro or even Gwynn being the main collection reward just wouldn’t make enough people want to complete it. Like it or not, a card having great contact and great power will always be more favored in this game than a card that only has great contact. Mantle, Mays, Jones, Guerrero all had contact and power. This is coming from someone that loved using ichiro and would love to have him back in the game btw.
And Biggio wasn’t the MLB collection reward, just the AL reward. Ichiro would be fine as the AL reward.

He's honestly one of my favorite players the show has had in it's history. Between the swing (He was a double and triple machine) and the speed in the outfield he could do it all.

NL: David Wright (former cover player, so likely in)I don’t think it matters that Aaron was an inning boss this year, he’s still a great player and would be an amazing card through at least July. Ruth would be my second guess (assuming they didn’t get DiMaggio or Jeter).
I can’t see it being Griffey, as he was a collection reward this year and is probably too popular to put behind LS.

After last years shake up with Ortiz and Chipper I can't really give a good guess other than AL: Mauer. I can surely promise that Ichiro and Randy will not be involved though
