So I was laying in bed and got up to write this post. I had a few frustrating games on MLB The Show tonight and turned it off. When reflecting on everything, I started thinking about everything going on in the world with this epidemic. Many human beings have lost their lives due to this epidemic. Many families have been through a horific experience with their loved ones dying and not being able to be with them during their final time on earth. Many others are dealing with unemployment and wondering how they are going to eat or pay their bills. Hopefully, everyone on the forum is safe and not having to deal with these issues. I am fortunate in the fact I have been working from home and haven't yet (and hopefully don't) have to deal with this epidemic first hand.

Now I am as guilty as others about being frustrated with the game but when you turn on CNN or some other news channel, having issues with an online game is extremely trivial. Maybe SDS employees are dealing with some of those issues I mentioned before. I am going to refrain from posting on frustrations of the game and hope when this passes that they can then work on the game. I do hope everyone stays safe.

I hate 99% of your posts, but this is the self awareness that I keep hoping will show up in some of these complaint posts.

While I agree with the sentiment, all of the current posts you see at the moment could have been avoided by just doing it right the first time. There's actually no excuse for that.

I mean, they seem to be able to get new, shiny cards out to keep the money coming in.

My mom passed away from it. It's was horrible to go through but time heals. Appreciate your loved ones because you never know. Hopefully your families are safe and we start seeing less and less people getting this virus. The U.S. is peaking right now but in two weeks were supposed to see a decline in the number of cases. Let's hope this is over soon.

I get we are in a pandemic & I cut slack to those affected/suffering from it and those fighting it outside like first responders.

But their team still manages to create “shiny new cards” to keep raking in the stubs $$$$ cash?

They also can work from home or their SDS office, not as first responders in hospitals and in public areas.

You’re cutting them way too much slack here for things they continue to do every year.

Open your eyes people. They know exactly what they are doing - gameplay wise- to keep the cash raking in.

They aren't "creating" cards, the cards already existed. They had likely have had cards planned out for months already.

Also, I don't know much about programming a game but I'm assuming it can't really be done from your personal laptop at home..

Exactly, some companies are just better at it than others. SDS always has good content but gameplay is lacking compared to many other developers.

I disagree, I think the gameplay is in a good place right now and I don't know what the company directive is to say they can be making major gameplay improvements

That’s fine if you disagree. Just don’t be mad that you fall into their “majority” category. Many players who understand baseball and know what behaviors/input should be rewarded and punished are not happy with this gameplay.

Good input should be rewarded. If you argue that aspect to online gaming, you have far other issues.

How do I fall into their majority category? because I think the game is decent and feel for the most part that I get rewarded like I should?

It is rewarded though. Not "enough" imo, but way more than 19 ever did.
