Better graphics, faster load times, and I think that's about it. I believe stadium creator is the only feature that was locked to PS5.

I wouldn't say the Ps5 has better graphics, but it definitely has better performance, no lag in MLB stadiums, and extremely quick load times.

lol mate no way its better graphics - i feel we've been stuck in the same graphics since 2017 with slightly tweaked animations

the ps4 sounded like a jet engine on the fan - ps5 is quiet as a mouse - thats the biggest difference

There are some slight differences but nothing your average user will probably ever notice.

Biggest difference for me is the load times.

It’s got the haptic feedback in the controller, which I think is pretty cool.

I could never get the created stadiums to work. I was probably doing something wrong but it would always give me an error when I tried to use one.

yeah def hear you bud the load is faster - the experience in online play is still the same - tons of lag, tons of freezing, i would much prefer consistency in game performance over more cosmetic things such as better graphics or load times

games used to be released, worked just fine, no need for tons of patches

here we have SDS changing patches like you change your underwear - there is no confidence in the devs to develop 1 product that can just work properly without adjustments throughout the year

Try going into the editor, and then saving the stadium you want to use. Even if you just want to use the default created stadiums SDS made. That worked for me.

Are you comparing the PS5 to a Pro or a base PS4? I bounced back and forth between my PS5 and a base model PS4 and it definitely looked better on PS5. Not a huge difference, but noticeable.

I am fairly old so yes, I do remember a time before the internet and online connections when patches were not really a thing. I think we look at those times through rose colored glasses. Many games had bugs (they are inevitable) but we learned to deal with them and move on.

But, I realize those days are gone and I don't think that I would go back. Not all devs are equal with how they handle patches but at the end of the day I would rather have patches fix issues than rely on devs to make perfect games.

Yeah I figured there was something else I had to do. I just never cared enough to do it.

we are probably similar in age - i just remember the old days was tons of fun, you get the cartridge, the game is what it is

even going back today in my retro games - i have quite a nice setup of classic systems and games - they are still super fun with minimal "freeze" issues or features which relate to being connected to the internet

Thanks, things have been pretty good. The nerve damage I was dealing with post chemo/radiation has mostly cleared up. I have another MRI in a couple of weeks, but I've been feeling pretty good so I'm hopeful that it will still be clean. So far I'm about 2 years cancer free.

What about the PS5 controller? Is it easier or tougher to hit?

I found the PS5 controller to be more comfortable and durable. Difficulty wise, hitting felt the same to me.
