Strike outs with Finest Ohtani don't count toward the online program strike out mission?

I would imagine the mission requires starting and/or relief pitchers, of which Finest Ohtani is neither.

For the record it states ANY pitchers. The guy has SP & RP secondaries. Just figured they'd count.

For the record it states ANY pitchers. The guy has SP & RP secondaries. Just figured they'd count.
Secondaries have never counted when it comes to stat missions.

Do we get PXP for Ohtani pitching? I've been putting him in in the 1st inning on PVCPU and I'll hit like 4 HR then pitch 7-8 innings with 10+ K's and I get like 200 PXP. Sounds low to me.

No you don't. If the player is primarily a fielder on the card then pitching stats and parallel points do not accrue for that player.

Pitchers always got credit for hitting stats because most of them actually bat in a game.
Very rarely do you see a batter pitch.
Which brings up another question: Does the TN Anthony Rizzo accrue pitching stats towards being parallel?

It's because that particular card's primary position is a right fielder. Secondary should have nothing to do with it.
Just like before when you needed missions with certain positions; IE catchers. People would load their team with catchers and just hit and quit for an inning. You couldn't put someone like LS Kyle Schwarber, to get the stats, unless his primary position was catcher.

I get what you guys are saying, but it shouldn't matter. If someone pitches and strikes someone out, they should get some PXP since it's programmed into the game. SDS could make it happen, but they didn't. I would assume it's because they didn't want you to put Trout on the mound and have him pitch a game and P5 him in half the time. It's just a game, so, whateva!
