Didn't watch the stream. Why was it good? To be honest nothing has made impressed so far...just looks like the same game.

I'm also doing the same. I really only play Diamond Dynasty because nothing is added to Franchise and RTTS every year...MLBTS 21 was disappointing and so far 22 looks meh.

The stream was meh. They didn't really showcase anything you didn't already see if you played the TT. Took a lot of time to explain to people how early/late swings effect exit velo, but that's not new. No talk about fixing the stamina bug. No mention about non-pci homeruns, etc.

I figure they’ll get into those items in the last stream which covers “diamond dynasty”. Maybe the idea is to keep mounting inquiry, drop some mention of it to alleviate some concerns, to then allow last push for pre-orders.
I did have a chuckle at the one guy saying “if you think I can explain physics, I’m not the guy….but let me tell you how bat position affects hits relative to ball placement”….which is really baseball 101 I’d think.

If they mentioned fixing the stamina bug then they’d be acknowledging that fixing it in 21 was not a priority. That wouldn’t go down well. You’re right about the swing explanations, Chris has been through that on the streams before. It’s always good to hear the explanation though. I like that they were upfront about the things that don’t need to change even though there are complaints, such as the perfect hit out percentages.

Honestly; it doesn't matter what they do to hitting/pitching/fielding right now.
A bunch of people will everyday complain about something and they'll end up trying to fix it with a patch.
And that will eventually screw something else up.
And then they'll 'rinse and repeat'.

Once people stop pre-ordering and being shills they will continue to trot out the same stuff. To be honest I wouldnt change anything either if the lemmings will blindly buy it based on cover art
