I think I better find out how to do this myself. Yes I've received some nice messages from players I've faced (thank you, nice people!), but too often it's something stupid.

I think I better find out how to do this myself. Yes I've received some nice messages from players I've faced (thank you, nice people!), but too often it's something stupid.
That’s kind of why I leave my on, well did. Sometimes someone will send something rude or even just an obvious rng thing but eventually we’ll find some common ground and agree on most things good and bad in the game. But what I just experienced was probably the worst in any game, that’s including when I played MW2 and would get those voice messages about my dad is a higher up lol

You are right. Even when I get a rude message I tell them that I hope I can be as good at the game as they are. (Which is true.) That usually softens them. And if it doesn't I block them.
I really appreciate the encouraging messages. Would like to do that during the game, to say something like nice pitch, or great play.

I remember there was a quick pitch event in 18. This guy who had a joker profile picture said I was hacker and he was gonna report me to SDS. He then sent a screenshot from his phone of him emailing SDS saying something along the lines of "User PatMcafeeFan124 was cheating and using quick pitch in the event. It's so depressing that you let users cheat on your platform. Please delete him or I will boycott your game..." He then sent another message saying "This is what you get for cheating you daft fool. Maybe next time you'll learn to play the game correctly..." I still crack up every time I read it. Just something about the irony of the Joker profile picture. One thing I have to ask that guy, why so serious?

Don't reply to the message, just report it to Sony and let them handle it.

You could have responded back with "I'm terrified! At your lack of skill." People send me that all the time.
