So based on how they did rewards this year if they do the cumulative wins rewards again this year do you think it'd be fair to implement a penalty for quitting before a certain inning? Like I struggle to play more than 2-3 innings per game before my opponent quits, which has caused my to get match with goons shortly after when I haven't earned my way up the ranks. I'll get to like pennant playing maybe 2-3 actual games that last longer than 5 innings. Had one game I struck out the side in the top and the guy quit. I feel that making a penalty for quitting before the 5th is like a 5+ minute hold to play next game depending on how many times you've already quit early like if you quit 5 games early in say 2 hours you can't play for an hour I'd say an hour "ban from RS" is fair if your repeatedly quit early. But if you wait till after the 5th a quit its no penalty. I get that sometimes we start games and something urgent comes up so that's why only a 5 min penalty is used early that gives you time to take care of your situation and not even worry about a penalty or if it's like change and feed babies if you still have a small amount of time left just check your team and maybe make some adjustments or run a game of conquest.

What are other people's thoughts? Anything you would expand on or disagree with. Give me reasons and explanations as to why you disagree

I’m sure I go against the grain here, but I think anyone who quits should get a loss.

I disagree. Your internet can have an outage. Sometimes (often times) the servers mess up. Some people have kids or pets who unintentionally can turn of a machine that leads to a disconnect. If you can tell me how to rule out these possibilities and have a 100% certainty that only the people who are being sour grapes will be punished, then yeah I might agree (probably still won't). But you can't. The loss is more than enough.

Maybe I'm in the minority here but I would rather have someone quit early. Once it gets past a certain point I really want to finish the game and see who can hold it together for the win.

How about if someone quits, you get the win. Easy enough. Nobody has to continue to play you if they don't want to. Putting them in time out for quitting a game is the dumbest idea I've heard on these forums. You're an idiot for even saying it. Jeez, the more I read your thread over makes me realize how stupid you really are.

This is the answer right here, there is no other correct answer, this is the perfect solution. Can't complain about this one.

I agree quitting early has become RAMPENT since they implemented 30 wins for WS rewards rather than actually making WS

When I play RS if things get out of hand early yes I will quit, For different reasons. If I go down by three with in the first three innings and I am getting hit then I will quit. I do not hit well and the game will continue to be this way. No reason for me to continue to play when it is not fun. 17 was the best year for pitching. 18 I do not think I played 1 RS game. Since 19 is when I started quitting games early if I was losing. Quitting after getting struck out in the first inning is dumb if you are not losing.

If you're winning, early quits are blessings, right?

It's kind of difficult to have a fair ground. I'm sure it's frustrating. However, 9 innings is a long time and if you do down big early there is no reason to waste your time.
