0-0 like every other year. I’m the master of consistency.
Yeah it’s really not the scary toxic filled mayhem people make it out to be. It’s really fun 95% of the time
-
20-2, didn’t play a lot this year.. Got a new puppy and just couldn’t grind out many 45 minute games.
-
96-20 l. Gotta go back and get the last 4 wins when the tech test ends
-
27-3 on my one and only WS run to get Trout. Who cares about records though, I know people who stop just before reaching 700 and then rinse and repeat on the new season. So they never touch HOF (unless the occasional opponent is 700+) and inflate their records to 100-20 something. You think they're good based on their record, but guess what.. it's all plastic.
-
Records have become more moot than usual with folks losing on purpose to get the WS wins. I almost wish they'd remove the record, espeically with all the freeze offs.

It’s not that I am concerned about toxicity. It’s more that I don’t have much time to play a full game uninterrupted without having to pause constantly. I also have the reflexes of a snail playing on a bad tv for playing the show competitively. Offline let’s me play at my pace and at my skill level. I would be in what many call here “all-Star hell.” I know it doesn’t bother most players but I’m also not a fan of “quick pitching”.

This is another big reason why I won’t bother with online. WS and CS players tanking so they can beat up on lower competition such as myself.

I don't really blame anyone who doesn't want to play on HoF though
-
I think I was maybe 15-5. I stopped playing in August. This year I’ll be playing mainly co op
-
I finished .500.
0-0 -
Good Lord... I will only say I won more than I lost. Please don't go look...

I ended at 80-27.
Pinpoint stamina being broken and the RNG being tuned up way too high kinda drove me away from RS.
Only motivation to play was to use newly Acquired cards that weren’t eligible for the event.
Really hoping the “mini seasons” provide some type of alternative for online play w whatever cards we want.
How many games did y’all play. What’s the record?
Barely played ranked this year after the first couple seasons. 38-4.
1 of those losses was a dropped internet disconnect, as well as 3 or 4 wins being suspect timing for my opponent to quit and I assume they may have had issues.
I could see myself playing your amount of games in ‘22. 9 inning games just ain’t worth the stress if they’re not gonna reward PCI placement all the time.
That's one reason why I don't but do want to if that makes sense.
At least in NHL and EASHL, the games are quick. I've played over 400 games there and it's only February -

Haha hey I'm not pointing fingers but I definitely know people who do this. Not judging either, just saying putting too much stock in a record is stupid since they don't tell the whole story.

I hate the difference in difficulties. I could get used to HOF, but grinding offline on rookie, then playing on all star, It’s hard to adjust w the difficulty constantly changing.
-
I broke 200 wins and like 173 losses above 500 which makes me happy
-
Wouldn’t you rather see your opponents rating rather than their record anyway.

This my friend. My son taught me the term “Smurf” which is based on these type of players.
But to each their own, some really care about their record, but as you said, it doesn’t take long to figure out if a guy is really good or a Smurf.
-
100-23 I believe, with my last game being losing 13-12 at shippet.. fun stuff

you are absolutely right - back in 2017 a bunch of us like Miju, Ryan, tons of amazing players on this forum - we would gauge how good based on BR flawless tickets or event run records - nothing ever tells the big picture but smurfing is a big thing especially in 2021, because you only need those cumulative W's
i would regularly tank myself just to cruise through and get those 30 W's as quick as possible
i think my record is 130-60 this year, but before that Trout card it was 80-25
your point is completely right, i wonder if in 2022 they will still do cumulative or you have to hit WS to get X card
