Frame rate on Switch
-
The Nintendo Switch is capable of producing 60fps with certain games. I understand MLB is an intensive game, so a reasonable expectation would be 30fps. However,
this does NOT look like 30fps lolAny way to improve this before launch? Otherwise very little reason to buy it on Switch.

Yeah, frame rate seems off. It's not as bad as say WWE 2k, but its not exactly smooth either. I don't care about the resolution so much as I do the frame rate. Frame rate effects your ability to actually play the game.

If we could get a steady frame rate and less lag, it will be just fine. If it looks like a PS3 game oh well, I just want to be able to play on the go. The input lag right now and jittering can make it tough.

That looks baaaaaad lol I feel sorry for switch players.

Agreed farm rate is pretty bad

100% agree. The Switch version is nearly unplayable at the current frame rate. It looks and feels like around 20 FPS. The textures look horrendous, but I'm willing to sacrifice graphic fidelity for a higher FPS. I absolutely love The Show. But as is, there is no chance I'll be paying for the Switch version.

I haven't tried out the switch tech test yet, but does it have horrible frame rate offline too? If you expected this game to play well online on the switch you were definitely kidding yourself
-
I only tested vs CPU and it was atrocious. No way I was going to try online after that.

If we get lower textures, no shadows, and a static or reduced/no crowd at all but could get a steady FPS I’d be happy.

100% you can sacrifice resolution for frame rate but in this case we aren’t getting either. The pitcher and the fielders look NES 8bit when batting. We need at least 30 frames.
