New Batting Mode called 'Timing'. Is it the same as 'Analog'?

**update - yes timing is analog without analog being default. I can see why they added this for Switch players and newbies.

Default is button timing but you can change it to analog timing like previous games.

I tried the Timing and it seems all you have to do is swing. Time the ball to the plate and swing. My joysticks made no difference.

correct. Actually I think this is a good idea for new players to get use to the game. Should have put this in years ago. I def would probably use this on Switch if I'm playing on the go.

My Zone skills have diminished immensely thru the years and directional I sort of get bored of. Timing is just simple enough for an old timer like me.

I didn't hit a single fair ball when trying out Timing. I went to zone and at least hit some fair balls. My zone skills are still very bad (I struck out 23 times in a friendly last night) but I'm not going to give up on it.

We need to play again sometime

I haven't played MLB on PS4 in so long. It feels slightly smoother than XB One. Also, the display from PS4 is more brighter than XBO which is a bit dimmer.

Maybe it's the softer buttons on the DS4 controller.
