Ichiro …… why not have the hit king and poetic outfielder. Another suggestion would be Robinson Cano. The only other sweet swinging lefty than Ken Griffey jr. Jr has been a star on many dd teams and I think another slugger in the infield isn’t shabby. Please add other suggestions you haven’t seen in recent years!

Cano is an active player, and would have been in last years game but for the fact he tested positive for PEDs and was suspended the entire year

Just making sure I read this right. Are you saying Cano and Griffey are the only sweet swinging lefties?

Please give these 99s a try:
    Shohei Ohtani
    Bryce Harper
    Kyle Tucker
    Christian Yelich
    Lou Gehrig
    Babe Ruth
    Tony Gwynn
    George Brett
    Cody Bellinger
    Corey Seager
    Larry Walker
    Todd Helton
    Yordan Alvarez
    Brandon Crawford
    Ketel Marte (switch)
    Adley Rutchman (switch)
    Wander Franco (switch)
    Francisco Lindor (switch)
    Jimmy Rollins (switch)
    Chipper Jones (switch)
    Mickey Mantle (switch)
    Joe Morgan
    Joey Votto
    Jorge Polanco (switch)
    Prince Fielder
    Stan Musial
    Eddie Murray (switch)
    Jesse Winker

Alright I'm sure there are more but I guess I should actually answer your question:

It occurs to me after re-reading your post, you might be referring to Mariners lefties since you also mentioned Ichiro and I agree, I'd love to have Ichiro in the game.

Others I'd really like to see:

    Modern-
    Roy Halladay
    Mike Mussina
Randy Johnson (wishes do come true) (perfect game or 20k game with maxed h/9 and k/9)
Curt Schilling (postseason card with [censored] sock)
    Scott Rolen
    Lance Berkman
    Carlos Beltran
    Jeff Kent
    Jose Reyes
    David Wright
    Tim Wakefield
    Miggy Tejada
    Tim Lincecum
    Chris Carpenter
Robin Ventura (with a charging Nolan Ryan quirk and Nolan in turn has the noogie head 👊 quirk)
    Matt Holliday
    Josh Beckett
    Adrian Gonzales
    Manny Ramirez
    Barry Bonds
    Roger Clemens

    Older legends:
    Roy Campanella
    Joe Black
    Ty Cobb
    Roger's Hornsby
    Dizzy Dean
    Hank Greenberg
    Frank Robinson
    Roger Maris
    Bob Lemon
    Sandy Koufax
    Maury Wills
    Elston Howard
    Buck O'Neil
    Josh Gibson
    Mel Ott
    Tris Speaker
    Pete Rose
    Satchel Page

    Soooo many more

    • listen mad I’m glad you can look up every lefty in the book but I’m talking about their swings. Ken Griffey jr is unrivaled in having the sweetest swing the game has seen. Cano doesn’t even match but is the only other hitter I can think of to put against jr. you must not watch the game and only play dd it’s okay I understand, must not be in your blood

I've watched, studied and played baseball far longer than I've played DD which I'm actually new at. This is my first year. And I don't argue that Griffey had an amazing swing. I used DD players because you were asking about DD.

In reality, I'd have to say Ted Williams was a good match.

And I'm sorry if I came off condescending, I was in a mood haha. Anyway, I wish Teddy Ballgame was in our video game, his swing was pretty sweet. Kyle Tucker modeled his approach after him but it's still not the original.
