I’m curious what the Rules of Engagement are for all you dashboarders out there. Is it one home run? 2 home runs? Is it runs in the first inning? Two hits in a row? Back to back bombs?? Let me in on this I gotta know. I’ve quit a bazillion games but I’ve never done “the dash”.

In my experience it's been more a "I know I'm getting outplayed and theres no hope of a comeback" rather than a staunch rule. For instance, if I'm having good at bats, fouling off with good timing, just missing with my pci, and/or lining out hard, the trigger on the quits is much faster... if it's early.

People who get an early "lucky" lead tend to leave much faster after eventually going down, compared to those who go down early and feel like they can still come back.

If I strike out the first 8 batters in your lineup and then your pitcher takes me deep: dashboard

Mike Trout takes a fly ball off the face: dashboard

Bunt with the bases loaded and no outs with Babe Ruth: dashboard

I think most people dashboard in my experience is not about the other player, but the game itself.. It think sometimes people get frustrated with certain things and dashboard... I think the parallel system with offline helped a little bit with the stat dashboarding and people being vindictive about it... I’ve played people where they hit a perfect perfect double play against me, the next inning their diamond fielder makes a routine error and then I get an off PCI home run, I don’t blame them... I’m not blaming anyone in that scenario, I think coding is hard, if it was easy I’d be doing it... I understand sometimes why people dashboard.

Dashboarders are complete tools. Wait for it to land, then quit. Sissies.

I'm not that good, but I've never dashboarded. Losers.

It seems to have gotten worse. People say the casuals aren’t gone from the game so I guess it’s the serious players who can’t handle losing in a video game.

I was only in the second inning and went 1-0 up at the bottom with my first hit which was a bomb and got dashboarded

Tbh. The only games which seem to last now is when I go behind. If I go ahead 95% of people quit on me now. It’s sad.

I completely agree! If I get ahead early they almost always quit.

I'm the creator of the infamous "dashboard" n I'll tell u why I do it. No way am I giving u a said HKO aka homerun out of nowhere due to u only thinking longball after u bunt danced me 20x. That's the only reason I'm deleting your fluke bs cause u decided to dance instead of hit😡

I got dashboarded in a casual game today… btw I’ve dashboarded too… I’ve done it out of anger because the game sucks and I get fed up when bad input gets rewarded and the game feels scripted.

Casual games tend to have some
Of the worst sportsmanship and behavior I have seen. People know their is no loss, so have no issue with any type of behavior
