Diamond Dynasty Co-op

I'd prefer a straight up co-op conquest. With the player who does more work getting more rewards. I can see this being really fun to play with friends even if your schedules dont line up to play online at the same time.
-
Even though you are talking about 'offline' game modes; you still have to have a connection to the servers to make progress.
That's being said, there are enough server issues with only one person playing. Imagine the server issues with multiple people playing.

This works in NHL, in EASHL in '3's' and 6 on 6. The last Madden I own is '19, and I loved 'Squad Battles' in that.
It would be hard to implement these cool ideas in an individualistic sport like Baseball like @sauciestburrito_PSN said. -
Yes!!! We need co-op play. Would love to see something like mut squads in DD or a myplayer mode like 2k in rtts

Why are we acting like this would be so boring? If they did a squads mode where it’s 2vs2 I think it could easily be done. Rotate hitters after every at bat and every inning you rotate between pitching and fielding.

Interesting concept. Personally I don't think I would like having somebody else control part of the game while I just sit there and watch. Sounds boring. Baseball isn't like football where everybody is doing something every play. If you're not controlling the pitcher or batter you're not doing anything.
Maybe there could be a way to make it exciting but I'm just not sure how you could make MLB co-op fun for both people.
I disagree - I played a lot of couch co-op in high school and college. I can only speak from own experience when I say that I want to be able to play WITH people and not just against them.

Be able to assign a user to a player in the line up and the user controls that player in the field.

I love co-op too, I just don't think it would work in a baseball game. If you're playing on the same team then if you're not controlling the hitter or pitcher you're either just watching the game or standing in the field doing nothing. Doesn't sound super engaging to me.

That's essentially RTTS except you have to watch everybody else's at bats lol

Super Mega Baseball has a co-op mode. The setup is actually not too bad. While one person bats, the other person controls the base running, then you switch every batter. For defense, one person pitches and the other person fields.

It’s always the +50 crew on there 134th conquest run with “blocked messages” and friend requests turned off that hate this idea lmao. Like anybody wants to play with a .198 hitter who has Excel spreadsheets about MLB content

Google Sheets, not Excel.
GET IT RIGHT!!!

MARVEL AS YOU LOOK AT WHAT CARDS CAME OUT WHEN, HOW, WHERE and WHY!!
Safe to say people find different things fun no? I don’t think I could pay anyone I know to do what you do for fun yet here you are going on half a decade, telling everyone what they do isn’t fun.

And that is where we disagree. I play PGA2k, 2v2 -- I watch three other golfers hit a ball. I am perfectly fine watching with tension as my brother, friend, etc. are at the plate with me controlling the runner at second in a close game.
