Yes it makes a difference. The input lag is nearly eliminated when you’re wired. Although Bluetooth wireless has certainly helped to close that gap.

My Xbox Series X didn't come with a wire—by controllers are powered by batteries.

Being that you are strictly offline player having a wireless controller won’t make much of difference. But if you plan on taking your talents online having your controller wired will help.

Interesting.... can it help me learn to hit better?

Seriously though, it makes a big difference online? Im mostly an offline player but have started playing more online and will do more in 22.

Nah man he doesn't know what he's talking about. We're talking about milliseconds and on playstation bluetooth is actually faster than wired because of polling rates. Google for the reddit thread about this, it has been researched and confirmed.

    Yes sir thats correct.

I noticed you said that bluetooth is faster than wired. Am I understanding the thread wrong in that I took it as their wasn’t a significant difference between the two and that they didn’t say so much that bluetooth is better than wired?

Edit: I see their discussion on how it was faster when tested with Rocket League.

There is an older thread from the same user that went into way more detail for dualshock 4. This thread was just an update for the dualsense, his conclusion was that the systems operate similarly.

Just curious if there's a noticeable difference between wired and wireless. Thanks.

Looks like you are in Xbox….in that case go wired….bluetooth on Xbox causes jitter and lag with the PCI.

    Completely eliminated wired.

That guy is completely misguided. He doesn’t have any clue what he is talking about. There are no wireless technologies that will trump a wired connection. That’s why that clown got the block treatment years ago.

Haha priceless. It's all about polling rates, look it up. What I say is actually backed by facts instead of angry personal resentment towards someone.

    Edit:

Scroll down to the blue images with information. You can watch the whole video if you have 30 minutes to spare. Very informative. But yeah, on playstation Bluetooth is most definitely faster than wired regardless of what you say. Clown.

It doesn’t matter because the servers are junk. Until they fix those which truly effects timing windows it doesn’t matter. 22 will be no different then 21, it will be a mess
