Are they ever going to update the calendar? Or is the game dead?

That's how I read it at first, but OP is right, it's a bit odd they have released a few things but not bothered to change the schedule. Nor a big deal. I'm just a content junkie

In the game and in DD, if you scroll through the top area, you would also see that they have the BR schedule and RS schedule posted.
