Lucky Nolan!

Around August I really wanted my favorite player as a kid, Nolan Ryan, but the best one, a 99 version, cost like 400 or maybe 500k at the time. I ended up "settling" for the 92 rated version for 52k and he has been my #1 starter since. I was just browsing the market and my card now cost 700k!?! The 99 version is only 200k? Im not trading at this point, hes been my faithful horse, striking out 1.5 per inning and an ERA in low 3's.

It's because the 92 Nolan was an early WS or BR reward, don't quite remember. Nobody is picking those cards at this point so the availability is extremely low. The 99 Nolan is available to everyone who gets to the boss pack where he is in. That's explains the difference in price. The 99 is lightyears better though.

Yeah, in terms of rarity, the 92 is better because of what @raesONE_PSN said. But his 99 is in the argument for best pitcher in the game.

You guys are making me strongly consider selling it, get the 99 version, and pocket the difference. Let me ask this: what happens to our tickets and card collections when The Show 22 comes out? Does it all carry over?

Nothing transfers except love of the game.

Well, thats disappointing. It would be nice if they treated them like digital art. Let the value move over the years. Probably more money for them this way though.

If everyone got to start with the same cards and everything from this game, '22 would start off with everyone having a squad full of 99s and nothing to work towards!

They only thing you can hope for is that they rerelease a card as a classic, which is probably one of their best ideas they’ve ever come up with.
