Am I the only one who can't hit with Willie Mays?

I took Mays over Sale back then. He's been amazing for me. Aaron as well. With Mays, you have to lay off inside pitches. That's the key because in the past I was bad with him. His speed is A+
He mashes no doubt opposite field homers. It's crazy.
I'm an offline player, so maybe there's a difference with how he's being pitched. If I faced him online, he'd get inside pitches all AB. -
All swing animations are the same length in terms of frames (a guy tested this), so it has everything to do with the stance and perceived swing time. Purely psychological. Still valid -- some guys work for you, some don't -- but it's nothing mechanical in the actual swings themselves.

I struggled with them. Same with Bench ad Schmidt due to having closed stances.

In my limited online hitting, I think I'm batting over .300 w/ about 10 hrs with Mays. I expect the inside pitch and mash it.

I personally love Willie, always have. Gotta be able to pull the ball though.

I'm legitimately furious about how bad a hitter they made Hank Aaron. That's the HR king, and he just lacks HR power in this game. It really makes me mad because I never saw Hank Aaron play, but my late father did, and he absolutely raved about Hank's ability. To see him rendered in this game as a warning track wannabe clown really upsets me.
Some people believe Bonds did performance enhancing drugs. Those people believe Hank Aaron had the most home runs in major league history. But he can't get one out in this game. Infuriating.

With all due respect, there must be some user error there. He's not my favorite card to use either, but his offensive attributes are definitely a good reflection of him and he hits bombs just fine whenever I use him.

Do you know my record? My record is 400 - 1500. I literally quit every game in a MLB stadium and I quit all games when my opponent bunts, even ones I'm well ahead in. I'm weird like that. I also quit all games in the rain, and sometimes, all games where the road team has all-white uniforms.
None of that says a thing about my stick skills, which are quite good.

I like Hank a lot in this game and Mays as well. But I also don't play much online so my experience is mostly against cpu on all star or above.

My average is low because there is rubber banding in this game. If my opponent doesn't score, and he doesn't cause I pitch like a poker player, I also don't score. I get lineouts.

Well that rubber banding will be present when you play me, because we use the same networking infrastructure. So those stats do represent an accurate picture, no matter how you put it.

I'll beat you with my Rockies theme team using Gomber as my SP, raisin, I'm that good. You'll bunt a ton and I'll quit cause I don't do buntwars, then you can tell all your buddies you made me rage quit. It was more of an eye-roll-quit than a rage-quit, but it's all good.
