Who do you guys use at catcher and do you keep a backup catcher on the bench? I usually dont. Feel like its a waste…

Mine is Johnny
Was going to be my answer to. There really is no other competition in my book.

I use Foxx and do not keep a backup catcher on my bench normally

I keep a catcher but not sure it’s necessary. Usually only comes into play when I want to pinch run for my catcher and then need one to swap in. Nice having a guy like Biggio who can pinch run and stay in at C.

Yeah, he sort of reminds me of a righty Gehrig.

I use different catchers for each of my division teams and usually carry a backup catcher but as mentioned above, it's really only necessary of you want to pinch run for your catcher at some point. Still, there are plenty of great Catcher options.

For whatever reason, they never seem to make the starting lineup but they always come through from the bench, either as a pinch hitter or runner. This can be any mode, a 99 slap hitter on RS or against cpu or a bronze or silver in BR. who has been super clutch off the bench for you?
I have a few. Honus Wagner Prime 99 on my NL Central squad is my first option off the bench for both his speed and bat. Despite being on the bench, I usually bring him in to pinch run in the middle innings and he ends up getting a few ABs. Ironically when I do start him I have less success, but pinch running, he always gets a clutch steal, run and sometimes I pinch hit him and he smashes a 2 out bomb.
Nelson Cruz AS '21 97 is a monster off the bench. I was just playing a 0-0 game and brought him on to pinch hit and he goes yard for a 2 run blast. 3rd time today he's gotten a pinch hit HR.
Who are some of yours?
My bench is Finest B. Reynolds, K. Marte, as switch hitters. Schwarb if I need to pinch run for my catcher. Babe for my lefty and Vlad Jr all star as my righty -
