Just thinking here, this is a 3 part event, right? So maybe these are the lower end of the rewards? Maybe they add some guys like Puckett or Killebrew in the next few stages of the event.

They don't add rewards to multiple part events. It will be the same rewards when part 2 rolls around

Another exception to the once you get a milestone/sig/prime/awards card you cant get another of those 4 theory.
Tbf this is the only time it hasn't made sense. Getting a finest card after one of those 4 has precedent(Salvy and Story last year). Smoltz and Eckersley make sense too with 1 of each starter/reliever card
I'm still of the opinion that we see a milestone no hitter for AJ Burnett. That would make way more sense than retroactively making a finest card for Trout from years ago, or what they did with Harper, or this confusing decision on Lofton.

The event says Part 1 of 2. Part 1 only goes for a week, and I'd imagine Part 2 will be the same. The reward path goes up to 60 wins, so that's already 30 wins per week to max it out if Part 2 is the same length. I can't see them adding anything more to the reward path.

When were these “new allegations” against Puckett? I live in Minnesota and am pretty plugged into the local reporting but haven’t heard anything recently. Certainly haven’t heard anything since he first appeared in the game.
Yeah no new allegations whatsoever. I'm just trying to make sense of the absence of a better Kirby card. I would hope they would be the better people and only base the inclusion of players/cards on their on-field performance, as the Puckett stuff is ancient history. But they screwed us out of Alomar even though he was never found guilty of anything and his charges were dropped so nothing would surprise me.

McGriff was one some people were waiting on for an upgraded version. I don’t think anyone was pining for another Lofton. And I say that as someone who will use Lofton as a fun change of pace in Conquest. Plus it’s an awards card and this is a Signature and Finest event (not that we need more finest). A sig Puckett, Killebrew (the two I’m waiting on), Andruw, Trammell, Marichal maybe.
Tino Martinez too!

Really weird rewards…no Andrew Jones or Kirby Puckett still? Starting to think they forgot they got Kirby Puckett as a new legend this year? Did they somehow lose his rights after releasing his first cards?
Wasn't Puckett accused of a bunch of terrible stuff from multiple women? Maybe there was some backlash and they went the Alomar route with him.
That was 15 years ago. They wouldn't have put him in the game to begin with if that was the case
Plus he's dead, so he's not benefiting from being included.

All I know is I grinded this event like crazy when it dropped andwas able to get both McGriff and Lofton, try them out and sell them for 1,000,000 each. Def worth it!

Here is a list of remaining card thoughts...Milestone/Awards Andruw Jones, Milestone Harmon Killebrew, Finest Byron Buxton, Awards Aaron Judge, Finest Shohei Ohtani (RF), Finest Xander Bogaerts, Awards Ryan Braun, Finest Cedric Mullins, Future Stars Casey Mize, Signature/Prime Kirby Puckett, Future Stars Forrest Whitley, Finest Jose Ramirez, Monthly Adalberto Mondesi, Future Stars Brendan Rodgers, Finest Lance Lynn, Signature/Prime Edgar Martinez, Signature Ryne Sandberg, Future Stars Joey Bart, Finest Adam Wainwright, Any Roberto Alomar?, Playoff retro Stephen Strasburg, Prime Shane Victorino.
-
I like the postseason retro Strasburg idea along with Finest Waino, MS Killebrew and several other options you listed. I hope some of these come out.

Like this list, but; Roberto Alomar is not getting another card, they didn’t even include his daily award in the forever dailies. Also, I didn’t see Tino Martinez on there; I am guessing that was a mistake.

We don't need anymore finest cards besides RF Ohtani IMO. We don't need any repeat future stars from last year either, even if I do want that Mize card back. Brendan Rogers doesn't need his 5th future stars card. Andruw Jones, Killebrew, Puckett, Sandberg, Victorino, Will Clark, Tino Martinez, Marichal, Sutton, Trammell should be the top priorities

I don’t want to grind that many wins for a pinch runner.
Lol comment of the day.
I haven’t been on yet today but how many wins for each?
18 for McGriff and I believe 24 for Lofton

Lofton is always good. His cards play way above their attributes. So I’m very happy
