Daily player debate: Top 3 Bosses, Bottom 3
-
Top 3 catchers for me are:
- Adley
- Foxx
- Schwarber
Salvy would've been top 3 but his defense is horrible for me even though he has good stats.
-
Top 5 Lefty relievers.
Wagner, Miller, Chapman and after that I'd say Hader TA3 and Matzek Postseason.

Wagner, Chapman. Britton, Miller. I only believe there are 4 far above the rest. No one else comes close for me.

Oh wow, I always forget about Britton.

Aaron Loup might be the best reliever in the entire game tbh. After him, for me, it's been Miller, Soto, Wagner, and Britton/Matzek

I just gave up a 2 run bomb by Loup hahaha, but that's not anything against him. He's been solid for me otherwise.
If I had to have 1 bullpen (I really like to rotate pitchers), they would be:
RH-
Goose Gossage
Kenley Jansen
Eric Gagne
Mariano RiveraLH
Billy Wagner
Andrew Miller
Aroldis Chapman
Josh HaderAlex Reyes is also right up there, and Brusdar and Matzek

How many LHP do you keep in your bullpen?
-
Wagner........ Miller and Loup. Wagner is in a league of his own as a reliever IMO. He is just lights out.

Foxx, Piazza, Schwarber
This but for me Piazza and Foxx are about equal. I have Piazza at p4 so ive been sticking with him starting trying to get him to P5 with Foxx on bench

Depends, this bullpen is not the one I run because I change up my rosters doing division based teams or theme teams. I just picked my top 8 from those
Sometimes I'll go 4 and 4 like above. If I were to play RS at a high level, I'd probably do that.
You?

I usually run 3 LHP, I usually need RH more.

If they ever release that Brad Hand from last year, that was the best lefty reliever of all time.

He very well could be. His delivery is glitchy. Hard to make good contact.

Not sure what people see in Loup. He was absolutely brutal for me, and he’s pretty easy to hit when I face him.
Didn’t see Soto mentioned. By far my best overall reliever with an era under 2 in over 50 innings.

Soto definitely deserves a nod, he's a fantastic middle of the pen arm and was one of my favorites for a long time.
Alex Reyes is another one that has everything you want in a pitcher. Outlier 2, a wicked sinker, max H/9 and 117 K/9 and a speedy delivery. I think the TA3 bullpen pieces were all really strong with Hader, Soto, Reyes and Kimbrel along with Hendicks for the actual game.

I haven't ever tried using Kimbrel online cause I figured he'd get shelled. He essentially has 2 pitches, which is bad news against any half decent player

Well, he doesn't have outlier but his velocity is pretty close. He also has a super quick windup and delivery and can definitely tie opposing players up with up and in heat and a nasty knuckle curve in the dirt. With that said, he is best used as a ringer in BR, or for 1 IP max on any other online mode. And, there are obviously better options. But his max H/9 and K/9 stats are dominant.

Top 3 Bosses: I'll put the ones that were pleasant surprised for me.
George Brett
Grady Sizemore
Tony GwynnI love Hank, Vlad Sr., Nolan and many others, but these three I didn't have high expectations for and they have been rock solid for me througout the game cycle.
My least favorite are more because I just don't use them at all:
Jason Bay
Spencer Torkelson
Mike Piazza -

Update: who is your favorite CF: Griffey, Mays, Mantle or Trout?
Or someone else entirely?
Definitely Griffey. Finest Trout has been removed from my squad entirely. Still have Trout but I'd choose about 5 others over him.
