Thanks SDS for making my decision on the 10th inning easier.

We should have seen this coming after SDS put Griffey Jr on the Reds. Weird decisions when it comes to putting players on teams all year remember this started with Glavine on the Mets as a collection reward.

Are you aware how milestones work?

O I know, i'm just saying they could have chosen something different say a Signature card but all good for me i'll still play the 10th inning. Angels team build is looking really good after the release of Finest Trout and now Milestone Pujols

If we are being honest though, milestones are the best version for most players attributes wise. This is the best Griffey and Miguel Cabrera we have ever seen. I can't imagine a signature or awards Soriano can be better than the milestone. Glavine is better than his card last year, as is steve Finley. The only ones I can think of that are worse are Scherzer and Lofton

Agreed completely, I think the Milestone cards are one of my favorite sets this year.

The main question is how do they choose to use a milestone card over any other series?
Pujols won the MVP 3 times with the Cardinals
Pujols won 6 Silver Sluggers with the Cardinals
Pujols won 2 Gold Gloves with the CardinalsSo they could have chosen any one of those for an Award card or they could have just given him a Signature.
I'm a little disappointed but not really complaining. It is late in the year for me and even if he was a Cardinal card I don't know if I have it in me to grind through another inning program.
And as a side question, why not change the art slightly and make it a 600 HR milestone card? That is the rarer, more elite milestone.

You are solely basing your decision on getting a player in a video game based on what jersey he is wearing?
The game won't prevent you from putting Pujols in your LA Dodgers Theme Team just because he has an Angels jersey on.

It has always just been the way I have done my Cardinal Builds. Only player cards that are actual Cardinals.
Plus, I don't even attempt to complete collections. The only thing I try to do each year is get all of the Cardinal cards, and most times there are always a few I miss.
Like I said I am not overly disappointed. Even if he was Cardinal on the card I may not have tried to get him. Just not sure I am motivated enough to do another inning program.

Fair enough. I understand the rules you have for that theme team but don't agree with them. If someone made a contribution to my team like Pujols did they dang sure would be in my lineup.
Diversity is what makes this game great though. Cheers!

Oh yeah, I loved his rookie card at the end of the US Map. I loved his 2nd half card even though it wasn't accurate.
I just tried out some fun 1920 Cards uniforms I think will look great on The Machine!
This will be my end game first baseman, at least if I need a rightie. But I'm also the captain of the Albert Pujols (top 5 RH hitters of all time, feel free to throw fWAR stats at me, I will argue for the rest of my life, no player ever had a better decade save for maybe Bonds and Babe .300+ avg, 30+ HRs, 100+ RBIs for 10 years) fan club.....wait, what were we talking about?

I got Lofton’s Milestone from the first inning and I thought he was such a fun card to use. I actually bought him before I got to my pack, just in case I didn’t get it. Anyway, his defense and speed were so valuable that early. I know he isn’t a power guy, and there are so many better OFs out now; however. I think they did a good job with it. I honestly cannot remember using his cards from other years, so I cannot say you are wrong.

My 10th inning decision is easier to, I've decided to take Pujols in the boss pack, it was a long and carefully constructed thought process that led me to this revalation
I'd like to see your spreadsheet where you weighted his pros and cons.

Lifting was killer for me early.

I love it I am so happy they have dome this along with the Griffey card. It changes things up and gives us cards we haven't seen before or players in a Jersey we haven't seen for in some cases 3 years now.
I really enjoyed what they did this year as it makes team builds and theme teams get a refresh and overall something new to look at.

I understand why the Pujols 500 HR card is an Angel and that is fine but at this stage in the game I will just stick with Goldschmidt at 1B on my Cardinals team.
You've freed up some of my time over the next few weeks.
i cant hit with Goldy at all which is crazy because i normally mash with him so ill be glad to get Pujols hopefully i have better luck with him

His signature card last year had 70ish power and was 97 overall, but thats about the only difference
