How do you budget your time?
-
Starting to look towards 22 and just wondering how people budget their time?
I try to accomplish one goal per day. (Tonight it was finish the West TA 5 Conquest Map)
Once I complete this I may end up budgeting my time between catching up on Moments and a few games a day in the new Event.
But to those that started Day 1; what did you try to accomplish before you started anything else?
I know a few have mentioned about how at the beginning if the 'year' you could grind the My Ballplayer program and could get some serious XP and stubs.

I budget my time by first making sure I've read every one of your posts so I don't miss anything and then I worry about everything else.

Good to know. I just made another one.
And if you ever run out of time; feel free to block my posts. That will also save you time typing up a sarcastic remark.

Don't worry, I saw it and read it.
In all seriousness, the grind side of the game does have slight changes from one year to the next so it's hard to answer exactly. Some of it also comes down to personal preference.
I usually try to grind some CAP stuff early on because I like the CAP and because the CAP is always way OP early on and stays god squad worthy throughout the game cycle. Some people are anti CAP though and that's fine.
Some people jump right into RS while some stay offline till they build up their squad a bit.
I don't think there's one right way. It really depends on what you find fun and just maximizing that.

It's all good. Was just 'sassimg' you back. No offense meant it taken.
Thanks for the info.

It's hard to answer, when I started, I was a month late so it took me a while to get caught up. I focused on 1 program at a time. Started with TA 1 and 2 and knocked out 1 division at a time. Meanwhile, I'd do 3-4 Topps moments a day until I caught up.
Once I was caught up with Topps, I'd do the moments the day they'd come out and take a day or 2 to knock out each week of Topps moments.
Then I tackled the Monthly programs and finally I started doing conquest maps. By the time I was more or less caught up, the all star program and TA3 came out and I'd basically just focus on whatever new program was released.

Me planning my play at work...
Me when I sit down, "Oh! A shiny penny!"

So in the beginning I played the game basically every free moment I had. I ran out of stuff to do. They don’t over load with content right off the start so you can pretty much follow the same method you’re doing now.
I focused on just getting xp and completing the USA map. Also had to work the market from the game. There was no companion app early in the season. I focused on getting trout ASAP. So I was flipping and grinding and selling off basically anything worth stubs.
-
Early on it’s about accumulating stubs (so a lot of flipping and grinded the USA Map countless times) and maximizing the CAP because it’s both the best player possible early on and there were a ton of stubs to be had there with Diamond Equipment early on.
Then for me it was just about getting the BR program done quickly and finishing Events. I collect every card so the more I can grind the less I have to spend. Once I had every card and > 5M stubs it was just about getting as many guys to P5 as possible. It’s faster to do this in 9 inning CPU games but often would do Conquest Maps to break up the monotony and get free cards (USA and then RIB).

You go from "this game is awful, I'm SO finished" to now absolutely swamping the boards with useless posts. I have to admit at this point its pretty entertaining.

TA5 gonna take a minute or two (I'm skipping the exchanges), so since I'm gonna be playing out the string anyway, going to try to get as many Flashback/Legend cards to P1.
Then, once that's done, still got 6 former Tigers that I need to get to P5:
Kramer Robertson (4)
Andrew Stevenson (4)
Kade Scivique (2)
Will Harris (4)
RIley Smith (1)
Nick Goody (0) -
in the beginning and to the end, CQ first along with flipping, moments, showdowns, Inning program programs and missions, Work on that LS collection early. For me it is whatever I am in the mood to play and what time I have when I do play.
lately it has been about flipping so I can have all the Flashbacks and legends, I made over 1.1M in stubs yesterday and I already made over 300k today, I am waiting for a buy order to complete for Gagne and then I will just need Ruth. Once I complete TA5 I will have completed that goal until the next content drop.
