So if I do Zone Hitting with PCI off is it just that the cursor doesn't display on the screen? Or does it do something with the zone hitting gameplay too?

The pci is still there. Just not visible. I play with the pci off. It just distracts me. Haven’t played with it on in 2 years now. Not sure if I’ve gotten any better or if it really helps. Kind of like a placebo effect for me

thanks everyone for the useful info.

I use to be zone since PS2 days but last 2 years switched to directional. I then today for some reason switched back to zone and remember just hating the cursor. then i turned it off and it felt more natural to me. like I'm not watching the cursor but now the actual ball.

Yep, when I get in a slump, I take it off. I wonder why I turn it back on when you get out of my slumps 🤷‍♂️
