They were technically different cards though. Parallels are the same card, just with enhanced attributes and rating.

The Machine! El Hombre. The great right handed hitter since Hank Aaron. Albert Pujols, cone on down.
Griffey would be swell too but I'm a Cards fan and will always be an Albert mark.

The first two collection rewards were flashbacks (current players), and I expect that theme to continue. There were just too many huge legends in this game this year that would have made perfect 'big' collection rewards, that were not in the first 2 phases of it, to expect that to change now. So for the candidate pool, I'm looking for current players that don't already have end game cards, and the big three are: Pujols, Trout, and Tatis, Jr.
Tatis, Jr. had a big enough 2021 that I would expect him to be involved with the Finest series/collection/program. That eliminates him. They already made an outfielder part of this with Betts, so that eliminates Trout, and makes ALBERT PUJOLS the favorite to be the card!

Trying to figure out if they have enough time to do one more 3 boss Inning Program or if they'll just release past bosses like last year.
Calendar lists the 10th Inning Program; but no info on it.
They did say something about Extra Innings (Plural); but will they give us at least two more Inning Programs?
