Piazza was a first inning boss and Keith Hernandez was an early inning henchman.

The 2nd half card is a 91 and was a 1st inning boss. Assuming you are talking about 2nd half Felix, he was rare round of one of the space packs. If Keith Hernandez, early inning henchman

So my question is, we get a 2nd half card of these guys. What happened to their first halves? Why can’t I get a whole Piazza? Preferably with pepperoni

Just curious, what’s interesting about that? Early inning bosses pretty much always get better cards, as long as their early card isn’t one of the main series types.

Just curious, what’s interesting about that? Early inning bosses pretty much always get better cards, as long as their early card isn’t one of the main series types.
I just don’t really remember many first inning bosses getting upgrades I guess, I clearly have trouble remembering them to begin with haha

So did Valenzuela in the Run It Back program. His Rookie card was a 1st inning Boss. I wish we'd gotten another Kenny Lofton, he was the 3rd boss of that first inning. I'd really enjoy a 99 Lofton at the top of my lineup. His 93 MS was a great card.
Also, Mattingly and Eckersley were early bosses that got another card. I believe after that, all the bosses were 99s.
