I won't be Pre-ordering next year's game.

I will not buy it until I see gameplay is really good by the time TA2 drops. I have zero tolerance for all the bs hits and homeruns my opponents are getting. This and contact swing bombs were the two things I comolained about during the tech test

I've done so every year previously since 2015. I've always gotten a deluxe or expanded version since they've been offered.
I am choosing to not support your game in this manner because your product doesn't deserve it. Between the terrible online environment and gameplay issues I'm not supporting it any further.
We as sports game fans have been taken advantage of over the recent years since Ultimate Team modes have become the prioritized game modes. We get rushed and incomplete yearly installments where all progress is erased and we're fed mostly repetitive content with minimal game improvements.
I'll be waiting for the next release to drop before I even consider purchasing this game, or any game for that matter. I suspect my days of mainly playing sports titles is ending. I hope people take the same stance as I, because the gaming community deserves better.
Terrible online environment? Sounds like somebody made you watch a home run lmao. This is the only sports game that is 100% not pay to win on the market. Constant updates, constant free drops, please explain how you’re being taken advantage of. I’m guessing you’re the kind of guy that expects to play for a few hours and have the best lineup available. It’s a grind my guy. Embrace it
Yuk yuk oh you're so funny. Must of sucked reading that whole post and then make a stupid reply that had nothing to do with what I posted . I have like 3.6 million stubs with nothing to do with them. Why you ask, well because the game is not fun to play online.
I'm glad some of you guys like free stuff, but let's remember why some of it was free in the first place. Server crashes, freeze offs, laggy game play, and countless number of server maintenances. Now with this last gameplay patch and the crazy PCI the gameplay is even worse.

Full of it keep on playing troll
https://mlb21.theshow.com/universal_profiles/CHUCK_DIZZLE29/game_historyWhen did I say I wasn't playing this year again lol? I'm still committed to a DD league, got to finish programs and such to get my rostered players.
It's nice to know you have a crush on me though. Either way, it still doesn't change what I said. I won't be Pre-ordering next year

I must say, I’m really enjoying some of the new SDS apologist posts.
“Embrace the grind, my guy”?
Do you fellas think you’re talking to a bunch of 15 year olds who just started playing the game?
Keep it up!
Oh but wait, don’t listen to me. I repeatedly post untruths about the game. The PCI is the barrel of the bat!

Personally, I had fun revisiting an MLB "sim" game this past year, but it's just left much to be desired when it comes to gameplay and overall enjoyment.
And when it comes to DD: you guys can make excuses all you want, but there are SO MANY Gacha games out there that KNOW they're a gacha game, and know how to balance out all the characters. To have attributes on a card that literally do not matter other than to make the overall a little bit higher or lower...that's just a waste of time for most gamers who have many different options/games to choose from. It doesn't make it feel rewarding. I shouldn't have low 90 overall players and be able to have close games against someone who has all 99 overall players. Yes, there's skill involved, but I'm really not that skilled at all...lol
What's the point of grinding for better cards when it doesn't really affect the gameplay that much?
I said it on another post, as much fun as it was collecting players and grinding the first like 2-3 innings. It became apparent that it was mindless grinding. I prefer to "waste" my time grinding a gacha game that actually does feel rewarding.(Not to mention the fact that all our progress "grinding" goes out the window come April when the next year's game comes out.Typing this made me think of something...What if they did a baseball game every TWO years, and the start of that second season in April, can be one giant update. You still have the players you've earned, but they slowly start to lose value/as the first few months go by, which makes grinding the 2nd season a little more exciting/rewarding. AND you wont feel like you totally lost all "grinding" progress from the previous year.

Replying to myself: Then at the end of the 2nd year, do something like the top 1000 players or whatever get an exclusive unlock for the next "bi-yearly" release.

Friendly public service announcement for people who defend posts like this: There's a difference between whining and constructive criticism.
Whining: Waah this game is terrible! I'm never buying it again! Everyone who disagrees with me is an idiot fanboy!
Constructive criticism: I don't like this aspect of the game for these specific reasons. Here's exactly what I think the developers should have done differently. I do like these aspects of the game, and I encourage the developers give us more of this next year.
It's really not that hard to be an adult. Some people on here should try it sometime. They might be surprised by how much less they feel "attacked" when they post.

Actually, all of that content was free to begin with. Every single thing they drop in this game is free...might take a little bit of a grind to get it but you sure as hell don't have to use mommy and daddy's CC like 90% of other games do. It's been this way for as long as I can remember, so gameplay has nothing to do with it.
