Not sure what happened, but pinpoint pitching all of a sudden stopped working offline and online on all my xbox controllers, regular elite etc., after months of smooth play.

Tried wired, wireless, rebooted console, fresh batterries, etc., It's strange.

    Can't complete any motions.

The only thing I can think of is something I have happen on my Series X that I haven't figured out yet. I assume it is an XBOX thing I just don't understand...but when I have happen what you are describing it is related to the controller assignment. I have two different controllers I use on a regular basis, but I just can't swap them out...even if one is completely off and even if I restart the game. I do not have copilot turned on, but it is almost like I can do anything with the controller I am wanting to use (the one powered on), like go into a game and choose lineups, but pitching and hitting can only be done if I turn on the other controller that I don't have connected.

The only solution I have found is to go into my controller settings and choose the option that the controller I am wanting to use "signs me in". This may not be what you are talking about, but it is the only thing I can think of.

I appreciate the help; thank you!

I've seen many of the posts here on the subject and did have the issue when my batteries were low on my regular series x controller, but I figured having the Xbox Elite Series 2 with the rechargeable pack, which has always been butter for me in the game, ie- splitters threw great without a problem, etc., but now, any controller I use has the glitching pinpoint problem, where it stops midway through the motion. It's weird.

Last night I had to use meter pitching, which I just cannot get into, and I'm at a loss for what I'm going to do going forward.

I will try your suggestion for sure when I get home, but I'm just wondering what changed yesterday, I didn't add any new controller, but I did see that Xbox sent out a system update last night, and that's the only thing that comes to mind.

Ah...if it is doing part of the motion and just not completing it, it is not what I described.
