Cards you want to do well with, but cant
-
Steve Finley for the longest time, I could hit bombs but struck out a lot. I'm still under .300
-
Mantle, Bogaerts, Biggio last year - I'm scared to give his 99 1 measly AB this season , and others I can't think of at work, atm.
-
David Ortiz, Prince Fielder & Jorge Posada are three I couldn’t climb out of slump with
-
Roberto Clemente and Hank Aaron. I so desperately wanted these cards and I'm terrible with both of them. I'm the very definition of an average (below most days) but neither of these cards do it for me.
-
Hank, Mantle, Frank, only played a few games with Mookie, but he is batting .236, gimme Topps Now Eddie Rosario 1/1 P5 baby

I mean, cards on your team that you should just try something else, but deep down you want to enjoy them so your patience is maximized. A couple for me is milestone Christian yelich, love his swing, snd the player..can’t get it going with him though
For a pitcher, I’d say Pedro, I know they did him dirty with his H/9 but I figured he’d be usable, but he’s bp
Here is my list :
Lindor
Ruth
Mays
Aaron
Biggio
Wander
Rickey
GherigPitchers-
Jansen MS
Smoltz SS -
Ortiz, Frank Thomas, and Acuna have been bad for me. I know they are great for others.
-
Jose Vidro, I want to do well with this card but can’t because they don’t have his rights.
-
I want SOOO badly to be good with Frank Thomas. Even offline, my stats are pathetic with him.

My annual most disappointing card, no question. I can't win with a Frank Thomas card.
-
Pudge, Piazza, Sandberg and Banks are the main ones every year and this year appears to be no different.
I also wish I wasn’t terrible with some other hitters such as pretty much every other card in the game, for example.
-
Ugh, this list is painful...
Jimmy Rollins
Wander Franco
Jose Abreu
Luis Robert
Matt Olson
Giancarlo Stanton
Reggie Jackson
Alfonso Soriano
Josh Donaldson -
For me it's been the Awards Frank Thomas, Mookie Betts, and Chipper Jones. I'm really disappointed that I don't do better with them. I know guys that love them to pieces but I just don't do well with them. I was so excited to get those cards and sooooo disappointed that I haven't been able to adjust to them and do well.
-
Future - Adley Rutschman
Awards - Frank Thomas
Awards - Mickey Mantle
Awards Eddie Murray
MileStone - Hank Arron -
Kyle Schwarber lightning card - I see others smash with him and my batting average online with him is about 75-100 pts lower than what my average normally is with others in about 100 ABs but the more telling sign is vs the CPU his average is probably 200-250 points or more lower than anyone else and he has well over 100 ABs offline. I honestly feel like 95% of his ABs ended up as ground balls hit into the shift. Another would be Frank Thomas but that is just an online problem. He's one of my best offline hitters but I can't even put the ball in play with him online.

Though I wasn’t a fan of how he carried himself, he was one of the best pitchers of his generation. Plus, he being a new player in the game, I was hoping he would be great. Like you said, they gave him low h/9 with an easy to read delivery as well.
Nothing wrong with how he carried himself. He was a fiery, cocky competitor. There’s a lot worse around the league
Pedro Martinez is a POS, when he threw Don Zimmer to ground. Lost all respect, he could've handled that situation better.

Don’t be dramatic. The old fool was running towards him and Pedro did nothing but gently grabbed him by the cueball and guide him to the ground.
Someone charges at you with rage, you defend yourself. Honestly, that was the best outcome for old Don. He felt like a fool after for letting his emotions get the best of him. Could’ve turned out alot worse

Are you mental, did you even watch it? Charging at you in Rage? He's freaking 70 years old, what damage is he going to do? And gently laid him down my [censored] he threw that man down and could've seriously injured him.
-
Mike Schmidt. I find it very tough to hit righties above all-star difficultly with his stance/swing. Although I did just win a game because I hit two bombs with him, his average is down near .230 and around a .800 OPS.
-
For me it's Lindor, Tim Anderson, Betts and Vlad Jr. I really wanted Lindor to be a star but just couldn't do anything with him and went back to Larkin. I was killing it with Piazza but feels like I haven't gotten a hit in like 40 AB's. Struggling a bit with Yelich too but it's a small sample size so far, so going to give him some more time before I go back to Vlad Sr.
