So I will be hitting Silver 25 whenever I play out my online next game and need a little feedback on which classic card to select. In the bronze round I took Morton for to fill a long relief niche. I have Posey so Sanchez can sit on the shelf for a while.
I have CAPS grinded to diamond 85 and gold level for CF and SS respectively, so either Robles or Mondesi could slot into a starting position right away. SS has been an offensive black hole for me so far this year..and I've tried Lindor, Rollins, and FOTF Tatis. I'd love a switch hitter at SS, but I usually prefer players with vision. I'd also be willing to play Mondesi a 2B.
On the other hand, since I grabbed Fingers at Silver 1 over the SP's, I wouldn't mind an upgrade for the rotation.
What is the strategic move here?

I’d take Mondesi over Robles for sure. OF is plenty deep with cheap options every year. SS is usually a weak position. I wouldn’t worry about Mondesis vision. He’s got a very nice swing that makes up for it.
Reyes wouldn’t be a bad pick since diamond SPs aren’t very cheap right now. But building a team, I’d focus more on your position players first.

mondesi is hits great for me.. fielding, not so much.

I took Robles bc he can be a defensive sub for a long time. I like to get chuck nasty off the field when it gets later in the game and I’m up.
