They shouldn’t adjust timing windows between difficulty settings. It is idiotic. Change the pitch speed, pci size etc…..

It makes no sense to change a timing window. It is stupid. Screws up the gameplay. Keep it uniform between all difficulties and based on actual physics.
Change the pitch speed and pci size between difficulties.

I would argue that changing pitch speeds is just as dumb.

I agree honestly. If it is real and based on physics pitch speed, pci and timing window should remain constant.

Timing window is the worst though because it doesn’t make any sense. At least a faster pitch is a quantifiable difference.

To me, the issue is an attempt to please every customer demographic.

I would love for the gameplay to be consistent instead of changing from mode to mode and difficulty to difficulty.

    Players will adapt.

SDS just have NOT figured out the formula equation of Pitch Speed Vs. Bat Swing Speed. Every players bat speed will differ based on personal skill & physical capability. Same with how every pitchers pitch speed will vary based on personal skill & physical capability So a hitter like Fernando Tatis Jr. that has a very quick bat speed swing, should have a bigger timing window to hit then a player like Pete Alonso with his having slower bat speed swing & therefore his timing window would be smaller. If SDS can come up with the RIGHT algorithm based on the correct formula equation of pitch speed Vs. bat swing speed. Then the timing window wouldn't need to change at all from difficulty levels. The game is already modded enough as it is now within difficulty levels. Modding the swing timing even more is overkill & makes the game way to hard at any level of play which is NOT fun. At the end of the day the games needs to be fun.

The way they have the pitcher's release to bat swing ratio is so messed up. They need to allow swings to be made once the pitcher's front foot moves from the rubber on the mound.

This game has so much lag. Let the player adjust to timing so it makes it fair.

I agree 100% but there are players that want the game to be more “realistic” (whatever that means to them). When I make the point that the game should be fun ultimately, I get the, “we don’t want an arcade game” reply.

As I’ve said multiple times, 100 doesn’t change from high school all the way to the show. Control of pitches gets better as you progress. So changing pitch speeds as you progress makes zero sense
