Twitch Drop Q's

Right or wrong I was under the assumption that the thing about Twitch Drops was that the 'drop' and the amount of free twitch packs given were at random (so long as you were watching a drop enabled stream) -- but on the show website the twitch drop announcement states
-- Look for Drop Enabled MLB The Show 21 streams on Twitch to earn a Twitch Pack by watching a stream for 45 minutes. Viewers can earn up to five packs over the weekend
Can anyone confirm the max amount of twitch packs over the whole weekend is 5?
This has kind of been a clown show and it at least reads like it's all for a max possibility of 5 free regular packs of cards.

Twitch Drops have never been random, they have always had a timer to get them. With Drops 2.0, Twitch now displays how much time is required and how much time you have left to earn a Twitch Drop.
For the Drops campaign this weekend, you can earn up to five packs with each pack earned by watching 45 of a Drops Enabled stream.
So if you watch a Drops Enabled stream for 45 minutes, you earn one pack. Watch another 45 minutes of a Drops Enabled stream and you earn a 2nd pack, and so on up to five packs.
Also, Twitch Packs are not regular packs. Twitch Packs for MLB The Show 21 are supercharged with greatly improved odds.

Thanks for clearing that up and for the quick response! Appreciate ya sir

You could earn many more last year. They would even come in 5 at a time if you watched long enough. The limit of 5 sucks, especially since we didn’t have them most of the season. But maybe that is a drops 2.0 limit.

There is no limit. We are limiting packs as this years packs are much more valuable in that the odds to get diamonds and golds are nearly double with this years Twitch Packs. Since they came on so late, we decided to make the pack even more valuable. If you rather get more packs with worse odds, that is something we can consider for future campaigns, but I think most fans would prefer better chances at getting a gold or diamond player.

I claimed 5 packs yesterday, and then the timer, or progress bar just stopped, so I came here to see if there was a 5 pack limit per day or something like that. I just claimed a 6th pack this morning, but the timer, or progress bar has stopped again. It's just stuck on 100% progress from the last pack I claimed.

I wish I could get some. Still having trouble getting my Show account fixed because the system won’t let me login or reset my password. I really hope this gets fixed for next year.

"There is no limit. We are limiting packs as this years packs are much more valuable" -- Homie, what? Is there a limit or is there no limit?
As for the much more valuable twitch packs, I was able to claim 4/5 but twitch is showing I claimed 5, idk, not worth the time investigating.
The much more valuable twitch pack haul
*Common = 2
*Bronze = 6
*Silver = 5
*Gold = 2
*Diamond = 0 -

We decided whatever we want to do per each drops campaign. When I said no limit, there is no limit in terms of technological limits. For the first campaign, the limit was ten packs. For this campaign going on this weekend, it is five. We set what pack, how long it takes to earn one and how many packs can be earned.
As for value, this is a bonus for doing something many fans are already, watching content on Twitch. This also helps fans explore the directory and perhaps watch a streamer they previously never watched before.
