What the Joc?

So, Joc Pederson gets a 98 NLDS card for going 3 for 3, with 2 Home Runs -- as a "Pinch Hitter",
and yet, SDS does not give him the "Pinch Hitter" quirk. Kiki's card got it, even though most of his success came while starting. Weird.
Maybe it's just an oversight? -
Definitely seems like this should be fixed. I didn’t even know there was a pinch hitter quirk.
-
That’s a great point. That pinch hitter quirk is sneaky good. I think Jon Jay had it last year and he was unbelievable for a common/ bronze card.

I've always argued that DHs should also be given the quirk but I guess they insist on giving it to basically only guys used purely as pinch hitters

I have been watching the Bos-Astros a little and now I understand why the Dodgers got rid of Alvarez. His defense, even in LF, is absolutely horrific. This is a guy that definitely should be DH-ing. He would never make a respectable NL outfield.

Quirks on PS cards are based on their live series quirks. Joc’s LS doesn’t have the pinch hitter quirk, so neither does his PS card. Kike’s LS card does have the pinch hitter quirk, so his PS card gets it too.

Thanks for that information, I did not realize that.
However, that still seems a bit obstinate of SDS... I mean, would really be that difficult to add the quirk to his card? After all, Joc's pinch hitting success, is what earned him the card in the first place. -
Card now updated with the ph quirk. Thank you SDS!
