TBH it was your 5 for 6 game that had me thinking. got him and I'll try him out tonight. gonna hurt me to bench lou
-
I hit well with his rookie which made me hella excited about the SS. Dude was just not cutting it for me, but others swear he is the top righty in the game.
I once started a thread to get data on the OPS people were getting with Foxx compared to other options. The most adamant Foxx guys never produced the stats and derailed the thread.

My OPS with Foxx: 1.339
My OPS lifetime overall: 1.135
My OPS with Frank (who I thought was the best 1B in the game): 1.276 -

Sorry I've never used those cards because Thomas was gonna be my end game 1B until I tried Foxx out. If you'd like I can share my OPS with other cards that aren't 1B but have similar attributes to Foxx. I think Foxx's swing is what really makes the difference

Jimmie is the man. This current ranked season I'm running an .888 OPS (which is an all-time high for me).
Foxx has a .381/.433/.639 slashline good for a 1.072 OPS. The only hitter that rivals him is Finest Belli or The Babe -
Lucky enough to acquire SS Posada a bit back but for me he didn’t standout enough to keep him at his price and sold him for $827k. Took that and bought SS Foxx, moved Belinger to RF and put Griffey on the bench. Smallest sample ever but I’m 3 for 6 with Foxx with 2hr and 4rbi’s.

Jimmie even sniffs those numbers for me and I'll have a deadly 3-4 combo. ill have to check ops when I get home but for sure it's nowhere near mitch's 1.3 lol hes like a cyborg at the dish

I’m slugging .815 currently with Foxx right now, not walking a ton because he hits everything, ops of 1.253, despite what some people will tell you he’s the best righty hitter in the game.
-
A friend who I suggested to get Foxx has a slash line of .392/.420/.837 with Foxx, ops of 1.258
He is the truth like many have mentioned and the best righty hitter in the game, like Mitch said quick swing through the zone, you have to be extremely late to get jammed with him.
-
Foxx is awesome. “Worth” is different to different people. If you have the stubs to spend, go for it.

I might buy his Postseason card since his SS card is out of my paygrade
His postseason card is nice with the catcher secondary as well, if his sig card had a catcher secondary he’d be my starting catcher easily
-
got to use him quickly only on a couple of conquest games. first swing was a bomb down the line. which I never hit. always gap shots or dead center. swing is quick and generates power. could be the honey moon stage but I like the small sample. plus I only paid 650k on a buy order what a deal

He has the 70 block rating. Anyone use the SS at C?

I haven’t but I would assume his fielding isn’t great there.

What are your numbers with Thomas, Pujos or Miggy?

If this card had a catcher secondary it would be the most valuable card in the game by far. I might throw him back there just to try and put piazza at first. If it goes bad I’ll swap them.

100% agreed, I was really disappointed they didn’t give him catcher as a secondary

Thomas - .619 Slug%, 1.008 OPS
Pujols - .667 Slug%, 1.079 OPS
Cabrera - Irrelevant to this conversation because he's a 3B and I've never used him.
